Perseverance of the Saints is different from Once Saved Always Saved

I didn’t lie. OSAS and Calvinism does permit unabated sinning day and night. If they don’t allow for this, then the doctrine is false. It's not desirable for one to admit this is the truth in those doctrines, thus the downplaying of this fact. It's entirely counter to what the Bible teaches...

Perseverance of the Saints is different from Once Saved Always Saved

Let he (or she) who is without sin cast the first stone.

Perseverance of the Saints is different from Once Saved Always Saved

5 Point Calvinism isn't the same thing as Luther's 95 Theses nor are they compatible on all points even if they both fall under the umbrella of Protestantism. You're using what is called a category error. This thread is not even about the Reformation movement. Since you didn't seem to know...

Perseverance of the Saints is different from Once Saved Always Saved

You're right except the being told to depart is more akin to an unceremonious throwing out. The sad thing is their doctrines do ultimately allow for the sinning as much as one wants even though I know OSAS and Calvinist folk will say everything to downplay this.

How is being alone and right in your own eyes working out for you so far? You know, sometimes it's better to not double down. The Reformation Doctrine isn't the same thing as the Reformed Doctrine. You know that, too, and you still said you're right. You have a huge ego I see. Indeed, it is.

Perseverance of the Saints is different from Once Saved Always Saved

This is unrelated to my comment. This isn't even the same topic either. I am speaking about Calvin's Reformed doctrines, i.e. TULIP, not Luther's Protestant Reformation. Please take time to find out the difference. Baby steps.

lol wow you brought that debate here too lol. I won't say anything since that topic is actually banned on this board. I'm on a lot of boards. See you around! ;)

Perseverance of the Saints is different from Once Saved Always Saved

Under the premise of Calvin's TULIP it wouldn't matter if someone lives like the devil or not because they are elected and are predestined to eventually persevere because the P doesn't stand alone in Calvinism. It takes the whole point out of doing anything if God is pulling all of the strings...

Reader Poll - Where did the Bible come from?

It's probably a bit of a mixed bag. God spoke directly to the prophets. They transcribed the things God told them and the events that surrounded those revelations. Other times, the authors recorded some personal commentary that weren't necessarily things God had said, but was good spiritual...

    Lucifer AKA Satan

I am aware of the symbolism in Revelation and there is actually a lot more than what you provided. If something is demonstrably not symbolic elsewhere in Scripture then it follows it's not symbolic if it's mentioned in Revelation 12. That's why I am talking about the specific falling of Satan as...

    Lucifer AKA Satan

    Ditto.

    Lucifer AKA Satan

You're suggesting a completely symbolic meaning to interpret the plain text reading of what Jesus said and what John wrote in Revelation. For starters, the plain text reading is the easier, more common sense, reading of Satan falling "like lightning" from heaven. When the word "like" is used...

    Lucifer AKA Satan

No issues here. I disagree with you and have all of the Biblical evidence I need for Satan not falling until a future time. Jesus was speaking prophetically. Yes, it means the war in heaven is a future event. Luke 10 18And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven...

who was at the council 325?

You seem like you haven't studied it. Please only serious discussion about this. If you don't know anything about the Council of Nicea then don't just go around saying things are wrong. People who have studied this will know it's correct which is why I am under the impression your statement must...

who was at the council 325?

That's where they invented the Trinity. The Christians there rejected the Trinity, but with Athanasius being lucky enough to be the archbishop of Alexrandria at the time, he just kept on overturning the decisions of the council. Constantine eventually offered a tie-breaker in the form of Jesus...

    Lucifer AKA Satan

You aren't God though. Maybe since you're the one smirking it's for you not me. I don't see how your question is related to "Satan falling like lighting" as they were doing miracles before and after Jesus' statement.

    Lucifer AKA Satan

Something tells me your arrogant smirk doesn't have my best interest in mind. So I will have to politely decline any assistance even if it benefited me. See, people have things called dignity. Better keep doing what I am doing on my terms, in my way, because no one loves me more than I do and I...

    Lucifer AKA Satan

Ah, so you did misunderstand me. You don't believe Satan is the name of an actual angel, but rather an adversary in the general sense of the literal definition of the word. Is that it?
  19. Runningman

    Lucifer AKA Satan

Okay I think I understand what you're saying now. I, too, see Jesus' vision as prophetic and not something that had literally happened in real time at the moment he said it. So in what ways are humans demonstrably different in the present after the "entire Satanic realm was shaken, destroyed...

    Lucifer AKA Satan

No, that was your commentary about things you said I did and then you assigned them to me. I believe you have misunderstood what I have originally wrote if you feel that what you have assigned to me is "truth." You didn't actually address the topic either. So let's start again. Jesus said Satan...
