    IS THE REFORMED FAITH BIBLICAL?

Saved and born again is the same thing Ritajanice. There's no difference between the two terms.

    IS THE REFORMED FAITH BIBLICAL?

I don't see any women on this thread. I have no comment other than that.

    IS THE REFORMED FAITH BIBLICAL?

Unbelievable statements. If something is biblical, you MUST agree with it.... not the many small nuances we're presented with.... BUT DO YOU THINK CALVINISM IS A NUANCE??!! Are JWs right? Are Mormons right? Do you agree with them too? You agree with everything? HE WHO BELIEVES IN EVERYTHING...

    IS THE REFORMED FAITH BIBLICAL?

Already replied to this and analogies, when it comes to God/spiritual, don't work very well. Eventually, the father must let the kids go to do what they want to do. No. We don't have to check all the 5 boxes. Any one of those boxes is wrong. Limited Atonement is so wrong that even some...

    IS THE REFORMED FAITH BIBLICAL?

John 1:12 is a very misunderstood verse and should not be used by Calvinists for support. It doesn't mean at all what they say it means. This is true for all verses that they use for the simple reason that Calvinism cannot be supported scripturally. Calvinists bring their doctrine to the...

    IS THE REFORMED FAITH BIBLICAL?

I'm not here to discuss what Matt Slick believes. I'm not sure what your position is and really, that's all I'm interested in. Your belief and scriptural support for your belief. The problem of theodicy is a great one for Christianity, but that's not what this thread is about. Also, I'm not...

    IS THE REFORMED FAITH BIBLICAL?

Of course. It's UNCONDITIONAL ELECTION that changes everything. All christians believe in CONDITIONAL ELECTION.

    IS THE REFORMED FAITH BIBLICAL?

The above is confusing me. You're not making your position clear so it's difficult to reply to it. Have to leave for a while... Later...

    IS THE REFORMED FAITH BIBLICAL?

Everything can't be a mystery Bruce. I don't have to be a proud, arrogant human in order to understand what God wants from me.

    IS THE REFORMED FAITH BIBLICAL?

I leave you to discuss this with the other member, but I just want to say that it's pretty clear to me that 2 Peter 3:9 is referring to desire.

    IS THE REFORMED FAITH BIBLICAL?

But you didn't reply to Calvin's statement about having the rug pulled from under some... How could a reformed person be sure he is saved ? It seems to me he won't be until the end comes. Exactly the same as for every other Christian, BTW.

    IS THE REFORMED FAITH BIBLICAL?

Why would God desire repentance from us if He's going to decide if we're saved or not? Why require repentance from a creature that is UNABLE to repent (according to the reformed) due to TOTAL depravity?

Perseverance of the Saints is different from Once Saved Always Saved

How can there be two biblical truths? There can only be one truth. Either God predestinated EVERYTHING including sin, As some reformed do accept.... JOHN PIPER, DOUGLAS WILSON or God did NOT predestinate everything. I asked how you would reconcile the two "truths"... you haven't done that...

    IS THE REFORMED FAITH BIBLICAL?

You're a reformed universalist. Interesting. Mankind is not sovereign. We don't rule...God rules. God is the ruler... HOW He rules is what we're discussing here. Does He leave any decisions to us at all? Or do we just do every day what He has already predestinated us to do from the beginning...

    IS THE REFORMED FAITH BIBLICAL?

Is there a difference between God ALLOWING something and God decreeing something?

    IS THE REFORMED FAITH BIBLICAL?

And herein is the problem SS. You stated that purgatory COULD BE biblical because I stated some verses from the bible. So I could pretty much state anything from the bible.... You've come to have your beliefs based on the bible. Does this make them Chrsitian doctrine? No. Christianity is...

    IS THE REFORMED FAITH BIBLICAL?

Almost missed this. I could discuss whatever you want, but not here. I understand how a person could believe in annihilism...total destruction for the lost. But not in universalism...however, it's not a subject for here. See posts 132 and 134 where I responded to your verses.

    IS THE REFORMED FAITH BIBLICAL?

I see. So if you could post some verses from the bible.... that means THE CONCEPT is biblical? What you draw from verse must be biblical... not the verses themselves.... In your idea, anyone could ready some verses and MAKE UP CHRISTIANITY. St. SteVen Christianity was already invented 2,000...

    IS THE REFORMED FAITH BIBLICAL?

See my post 190 just above. To answer your question: YES everything that God WILLS will come to pass. If God WILLS something it's going to happen. In the Lord's Prayer we pray for God's will to be done here on earth... God's will is done in heaven: Think of heaven....this is how God would...
