Thank you for your prayers. This response, I think is helpful. Paul did tell others he prayed for them as an encouragement.

    How was your day?

When I want inspiration for continuing to do good, I find motivation content for men very helpful. The west has a very indulgent feelings-driven culture. It encourages women especially to live by their feelings. I don't always feel like serving my family. I will do it anyway. Self-care and...

    How was your day?

Sometimes I don't feel like doing the right thing any more. But if I try to get mine on earth, I won't get it in heaven. Service and sacrifice here is the only correct option. Im thankful my husband took over baby duty last night because he has today off. I do feel better but the enemy's...

It just made me angry and sorry for myself. This is a season where I can either let being tired be...

Would my prayers lose value if I never told others I prayed for them? If God got the glory and I got none would that hurt somehow? If I don't post about what I do on Facebook, does that mean Im not doing anything? Do I need selfies to be beautiful? Who's attention do I need? If God wants us...

    How was your day?

Even though Im tired, I don't want to make today about me. I love that my teenage sister in law hangs out with us so I am baking bread, keeping the kitchen clean, making a fragrant simmer pot, and baking chocolate chip cookies from scratch.

Renovating old buildings, properties, homesteads, etc

Am interested in very small scale homesteading. Id like to grow some vegetables next year. Maybe onions.

    How was your day?

Tomorrow, I will try a simmer pot. Apparently to make your home smell like fall, you simmer orange peels, apple slices, nutmeg, cloves, and cinnamon sticks in water. Im also going to try chocolate chip cookies from scratch again.

    How was your day?

Sometimes you have to let emotions blow over like a storm.
