Where does the Pope get his authority?

Peter was a small stone - not the "rock" of his confession. Paul was God's NT champion who had to get in Peter's face and correct his weak-kneed religion. Good thing Jesus didn't establish His church on a gelatinous coward who denied Jesus 3 times, but on the sure foundation of Peter's words. To...

Where does the Pope get his authority?

I think it's pretty asinine for people to claim to derive their authority over the very thing they claim grants them their authority...of course, most catholics don't care about Jesus at all, just Mary, the popes, and the priesthood, which is horribly misplaced trust, for apparitions of "Mary"...

Where does the Pope get his authority?

Hebrews 4:9 says the Sabbath remains for us Christians to keep. The word "rest" is "Sabbatismos" which refers to the weekly Sabbath, not the "spiritual rest" of "Kataposis" which is found in the rest of the chapter.

Where does the Pope get his authority?

So, as long as a wife has faith that her husband loves him, she can cheat on him left, right, and center, right? BTW, what do you call a man who lets his wife sleep with other dudes in front of him? A "cuck". My Jesus is no "cuck", my friend. You either prove your love for Him by obeying the...

I just wrote an email to my Rep. and unloaded.

You'll be much happier when you realize Luciferian secret society members run the world's political machines so that actual men of character like Ron and Rand Paul are never given any real power while their puppets like Pelosi, Shummer, and AOC get rewarded with millions for dancing to their...

Here is why, as an Adventist, I believe America is in Trouble.

Unfortunately for you, the NT commands us to keep all Ten Commandments while setting us free from any obligation to keep the Mosaic Law of ceremonies and sacrifices - one of those Biblical distinctions your empty religion leading you to hell won't allow you to acknowledge, friend.

    It's getting dark out here

Paul actually encourages us to shift our focus from ourselves to what Jesus endured: "For consider Him Who endured such contradiction of sinners against Himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds." It's human nature to think we're worse off than we are, so doing this helps.

    It's getting dark out here

Whenever I begin to think I've got it tough, I remember the many Christians around the world suffering unspeakably for Christ, and I'm reminded of my sufferings are but "pinprick crucifixions".

Tree of Life: A Soup Nazi Commentary on Revelation 22:14 KJV

That's the problem. You fail to see that James was writing to Christians :) You've missed Paul's entire point. The Old Covenant was a "ministry of death" because the people were taught that obedience to what was written on stone was the means to obtain salvation. The New Covenant taught...

Rallying Call of the Apostle Paul

The Strawman Argument tactic seeks to gain victory over a debate opponent by falsely extending the opponent's position to include things he did not say followed by unanswerable argument against what the opponent did not say ("strawman argument") so that his original position might be dragged...

Rallying Call of the Apostle Paul

I've found this to be the best Biblical analysis on the "Nature of Christ" which you'll find covers the "preeminence" question. I hope you prayerfully consider the eye-opening truths found in it:

Rallying Call of the Apostle Paul

As SDAs in a world where the truth is covered over by layer after layer of deception, our energy is far better spent helping to uncover it instead of questioning the sincerity of those doing the digging.

Rallying Call of the Apostle Paul

When a post about a converted, born again, washed in the blood Christian's obligation to keep the Ten Commandments is met with a reply about how "we don't keep the law to be justified" - friend, that is TEXTBOOK strawman argument.

Tree of Life: A Soup Nazi Commentary on Revelation 22:14 KJV

Every single sin - including favoritism - falls under one of the Ten Commandments. Favoritism can be shown to be a variation of "idolatry" because people who engage in favoritism do so because they've elevated the object of their favor to "idol" status despite God's clear teaching that we be "no...

Tree of Life: A Soup Nazi Commentary on Revelation 22:14 KJV

Pretty sure he mentions "adultery" and "kill" which are part of the Ten Commandments...and he says if we break them we become transgressors of the law - and "no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him" nor will the "adulterer enter the kingdom of heaven".

Tree of Life: A Soup Nazi Commentary on Revelation 22:14 KJV

Oh, you don't think it's referring to the Ten Commandments? Then publicly state right here and now which of the Ten Commandments we're at liberty to break.

Rallying Call of the Apostle Paul

And, there it is...so predictable. If only you guys were as anxious to publicly declare which commandments we're at liberty to break as you are anxious to resort to Straw Man argument. Of course, the Ten Commandments have nothing to do with "Christian Origination" aka "salvation by grace...

Tree of Life: A Soup Nazi Commentary on Revelation 22:14 KJV

You sure about that? James 2:1-11 KJV [1] My brethren (Christians) [2] For if there come unto your (Christian) assembly [3] And ye (Christians) [4] Are ye (Christians) not then partial [5] Hearken, my beloved brethren (Christians) [6] But ye (Christians) have despised the poor. [7] Do...
