Today is my first day alone with baby. Hubby is at work. It has been a rewarding day. Chores got done, bath time went smoothly and now Naomi is warm, dry, full, and clean. And she gave me a smile, so all the work it took was definitely worth it.

I am outnumbered now!

My to do list is helping me stay on track today as baby sleeps.

I remember my health and fitness goals. I will move towards cooking less processed foods again. Music inspires me to keep going in these areas.

I got some rest and now the swelling in my ankles and feet is going down. I will check my weight today. I lost about 20 pounds upon delivery and am continuing to drop water weight. My goal was to manage my weight gain without worrying about losing any. I think that was a success.

Have gathered all the photos from baby Naomi's first days. I am already liking some of the colors I can use to decorate the big scrapbook I ordered and coordinate with them.

Finally get to cuddle my sweet baby after a slew of errands and appointments. My in-laws are eager to help and hubby is quite smitten with her. So I have to get my cuddle time in when I can.

I will enjoy this time. Ill never be a "new mom" again after Ive gained baby experience so Ill just enjoy the learning curve. For example, discovering that she is comforted with the sound of my voice or learning not to be so hesitant about her in general.

My baby is a deep sleeper apparently.
