    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

Do you really think Paul would object and criticize me for obeying God commandments? Do you think my obedience is not bearing fruit for God? If obedience isn't a fruit or result of God's doing, where does it come from, knowing we can't do it of our own selves?

Elon Musk: "Time Does NOT Exist! James Webb Telescope Proves Us Wrong!"

Does Affect us more the older we get? Seems to me that time is going much faster the more I slow down. :contemplate:

Elon Musk: "Time Does NOT Exist! James Webb Telescope Proves Us Wrong!"

I don't doubt there are nuances and some very weird and wonderful facets of time and space, the stuff of physics, that man sees certain evidence for, but the explanation thereof is at best subjective. Like quantum entanglement and the butterfly effect. Fascinating stuff, but I prefer to...

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

"Sin is transgression against the law." That's a NT statement. "The wages of sin is death." That's also a NT statement. We don't have to kill sinners, whatever they deserve they will in the end receive. God has promised justice. So those who disobey God's commandments will die the second death...

Elon Musk: "Time Does NOT Exist! James Webb Telescope Proves Us Wrong!"

I am humbled by the scientists and their presentations on this thread, and by no means will attempt to match them with with wits. I am a simple fellow with a simple view... If there is past, present, and future, then there must be time. I would not presume to think there is no concept in heaven...

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

Inherent in the Ten Commandments is the gospel. The first commandment has been edited by most but if we read the entire passage of scripture, we can readily see that God is not commanding us to do the impossible. The Ten Commandments begin: Exodus 20:1,2. ” I am the LORD thy God, which have...

Another example of the KJV Bible contradicting itself

@Patrick1966 What do you do with texts such as, "love not the world"? What is the world that John is referring to here? What do you do with the expression, "worldview"? In order to have a worldview, must we be in an airplane or standing on the moon? When scripture says, end of the world, I...

    Why Are You A Christian?

KJV Ezekiel 33:1-16 1 Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 2 Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman: 3 If when he seeth the sword come...

    Why Are You A Christian?

Like the words of Jesus? Certainly we could rely on His spoken words right? I guess that's why they were written down. Because they were reliably trustworthy. Always worth writing down stuff that's worth remembering. Even the words that were about Jesus, were written down. KJV Hebrews 10:7 7...

    Why Are You A Christian?

On the other hand, he is right...a day for healing of relationships with God and man is brilliant. In fact, that's the purpose of the true Sabbath. Sad that the majority of Christians exalt a counterfeit day that is neither blessed nor sanctified for that purpose. Just like the fruit of the...

    Why Are You A Christian?

You know who you are quoting right? Would you quote Jereboam as the source of truth regarding religious practise? Would you quote Cain regarding what pleases God? Was there anything wrong with the sacrifices of Saul when impatient for the arrival of Samuel?

    Why Are You A Christian?

You realize surely, that the same finger that wrote the Ten commandments belonged to the same hand that was nailed to the cross to pay the ransom for those who transgressed the Ten Commandments. What was wrong with the Ten Commandments that you feel they needed to be changed?

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

Any media outlet that expresses public opinion in any form, for example talk-back radio, is awash with concern over the current state of crime, violence, social addictions and morality. Much of the debate centers on law, what changes need to be made if any, and how to enforce those changes once...

    Why Are You A Christian?

Of course, we all know, at least we should know, that it isn't a Jewish Sabbath. Not is it the Sabbath of the Seventh Day Baptists, or the Seventh Day Adventists. KJV Exodus 20:10 10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor...

    Why Are You A Christian?

Mark of the beast remember? The beast has been working on global unity for a very long time. More recently however the beast has been much more pro active in his demands and in 2015 he wrote an encyclical called Laudato Si. A few years later he reiterated the main points of Laudato Si before the...

Then the devil flees from you as he has nothing to answer back with, KJV Matthew 4:4 4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God .

    Why Are You A Christian?

Yet we understand greatly not just the extent of God's love for man, but the power of that love. Jesus has already paid the ransom office for every man, woman, and child on the planet, throughout all generations. In other words, the whole world. God therefore has already initiated a relationship...

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

None of your quotes say we are no longer obliged to obey God's commandments. Not being under the law means we are no longer condemned as being transgressors of the law. If I am pulled over by a highway patrol-man because I was speeding, and admit that yes, I was indeed doing 75mph in a 50mph...
