Once saved, always saved is a myth.

Some people love to make people just muse around as well… it happens too often on forums like these.

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

there is a problem when people start judging other people… Some people may have autism… … Be weary of people out here… judge yourself before you judge others.

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

It’s the bickering and back and forth of religiosity which gets in the way. How many people here have taken time to read all the apostolic record before? I mean from Matthew - Revelation.

If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can move the mountain. Really?

”And when they were come to the multitude, there came to him a certain man, kneeling down to him, and saying, Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatick, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water. And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure...

How are you as a believer to handle things that come up? Caught somebody in sin? Excommunication? Or spirit of meekness to restore a person ?

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

”Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you. Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten. Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure...

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

”From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye...

Or are the words just too hard to read an they don’t have any value, @Taken?

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

”My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation. For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body. Behold, we put bits in the horses' mouths, that they may obey us; and we...

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

”My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons. For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment; and ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and...

@Taken, does James have any value concerning faith and works?

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

That was done without the choice of Jesus. Sorry. It was a manmade choosing there, never hear from mattais ever again. It was Paul who was chosen to be the 12th. But you can disagree.

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

He did what was proposed in Gods will. He was placed by Paul. It’s up to you to choose, don’t believe me, @Cyd.

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

It just comes down to renouncing your prior stance. I believe Jesus is speaking about his specifically chosen apostles that would go on to do the will of God. Those ones he calls out to follow him and they did. Was him choosing them, and not them choosing him, though they choose to follow.

Where does our world view come from?

Does that make it your job to correct? Would rather live in a community with a fencing and the community or would you rather have freedom of your own choice ? I don’t think about these things all that often. People do what people do just as you do what you choose to do, why would they’re...

Does Satan run the world? Or does God?

Church continued because people liked to play church. “Material Church has no bases” on God who can write on the hearts and minds of those are his. Can people show up and learn what’s taught at a church? Sure… it has no merit on the church bride of that day… which was pure, spotless, even...

Contrasts between Old Testament, and Apostolic Record

For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder. And His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. ”Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is...
