Does God want me if I'm just a 'common use' piece of clay?

It seems we have different views. I have a whole Compiled list of everything pertaining to Gods wrath. God never once poured out his wrath on his son. He poured out his wrath on those who killed his Son. What did the Son do that was wrong that deserved Gods wrath...

Does God want me if I'm just a 'common use' piece of clay?

I’m not so sure that what you say is true. Unless God is making vessels of wrath today, through Gentiles. Gods wrath was poured out on Israel, there would be no more wrath if the cup is poured out. Those vessels of wrath would be those who put to death Yeshua.

That all pertains to Israel, in that day? Reading Romans 9-11. https://www.christianityboard.com/threads/romans-road-readings.57183/

good morning @Eternally Grateful. Great name, would like you to know, that I hope you have a good day today. You are still on ignore, and your rebuttals will be ignored. Let’s actually have a good day and live it before God as though we may die today.

Which OT laws should I obey?

”So now anyone who is in Christ Jesus is not judged guilty. That is because in Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit that brings life made you free. It made you free from the law that brings sin and death. The law was without power because it was made weak by our sinful selves. But God did what the...

Does Satan run the world? Or does God?

Thank you for the update, @Behold. It’s reader choice! Believe it or not. Revelation 20:10 says the devil, the beast and the false prophet are done away with forever and ever. Darkness is still prevalent.

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

You have to remember you have a body of flesh, like myself. While yes the Mind needs renewed, no one is going to be free of temptations. Even Jesus could have sinned… ”God’s word is alive and working. It is sharper than the sharpest sword and cuts all the way into us. It cuts deep to the place...

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

Rita, i don’t know about you, but when i read flesh, i tend to think of our souls, our mind, will, and emotions. Your right there is a renewing of the mind as you suggested. ”There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the...

Does Satan run the world? Or does God?

Readers choice. You don’t have to accept that Jesus was coming quickly if you don’t want to. ”This is a revelation from Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must happen soon. And Christ sent his angel to show it to his servant John, who has told everything he saw. It is...

    What’s wrong with Personal Sanctification?

It’s Jesus who founded as the one whom is a believers sanctification. Paul wrote concerning his fellow believers in Corinth. ”Since also Jews ask a sign, and Greeks seek wisdom, also we — we preach Christ crucified, to Jews, indeed, a stumbling-block, and to Greeks foolishness, and to those...

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

It’s amazing how easy and simple it is to cut half the narrative of the gospel down, when you know it really well, it’s much more harder to go and read full sections and chapters. I’m lucky enough to be able to read and have read the gospel and the letter except ‘Acts’ all the way throughout its...

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

Thank you for all the scripture. People of faith can still renounce their faith. Unless they are robots and have no free will, or God is menace and forces them into it. I believe God worked with people he chose because those people chose to seek him. ”So, my brothers and sisters, those chosen...

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

Doesn’t God by his spirit always produce works of love? ”Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous, it does not brag, and it is not proud. Love is not rude, it is not selfish, and it cannot be made angry easily. Love does not remember wrongs done against it. Love is never happy when others...

    What’s wrong with Personal Sanctification?

You may be thinking of Hagios. 40 hágios – properly, different (unlike), other("otherness"), holy; for the believer, 40 (hágios) means "likeness of nature with the Lord" because "different from the world." The fundamental (core) meaning of 40 (hágios) is "different" – thus a temple in the 1st...

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

I don’t believe in the doctrine, of one saved always saved. I do believe works play apart of one’s faith, don’t you? James speaks about it. I’m not saying it’s good to go out there and steal your neighbors dog and bust out the headlights of their car. You tell me.

Oh praise God! Thank you, for dropping it. It gets old and repetitive and a little annoying to keep going like this. Don’t you agree?

@Ritajanice, it’s not good to lie to yourself. Hope all the best for you. The writer of Hebrews talks about how believers of the faith can become unbelieving but the scripture may not matter… God will keep you. But what if you gave up on him? Is that his Fault?
