Thoughts about using a KJV update?

Too bad. You wasted your time and money. You should have obeyed Acts 2:38 and avoided those schools that teach you to disobey and ignore Acts. You should have obeyed Acts 2:38 and went straight into evangelizing it like the Acts church did.

Thoughts about using a KJV update?

Why else would a fella spend 8 years in Bible school? A burden? No, he wants his degree and notoriety for money. The new translation he creates is his crown jewel for dividends.

Thoughts about using a KJV update?

The basis for all new translations is simple. Money.

Thoughts about using a KJV update?

No, it is fine now. It still has the "thee's and thou's". Never met anyone that struggled with it in my life. That misconception is made up by the new age Bible promoters.

Thoughts about using a KJV update?

Yes the KJV is the Bible. I am KJVO. I teach from it and recommend my students to use it exclusively.

Thoughts about using a KJV update?

It is a plumbline for a Chinese translation. What, should you use the RCC Bible, NIV or NWT for language comparisons instead?

Thoughts about using a KJV update?

I trow not. No, but I teach straight out of the KJV and neither I nor any sinners that I am teaching ever had a problem with any of it since 1980. Folks are merely making excuses for new translations.

Thoughts about using a KJV update?

If it is not in use, it is because folks can't read Shakespeare.;)

Thoughts about using a KJV update?

English is a long dead language??? Who declared that? Is Shakespeare a dead language also?

Thoughts about using a KJV update?

Blame the parents, not the KJV. We don't need a "Bible for illiterate', because we already have a cartoon Bible for them. They need to practice reading with the KJV.

Thoughts about using a KJV update?

You use a translation instead of a dictionary to figure out unknown words? Sounds like Strongs is your next Bible.

Thoughts about using a KJV update?

No, the opposite. The modern translations are founded in biased, false doctrines.

Thoughts about using a KJV update?

Get an old dictionary, not a new translation

Thoughts about using a KJV update?

Words have not changed, but slang has changed and words have been added to the English language, like scientific words etc. None of these words that have been added are relevant to the scripture. We can't worry about "modernizing God's word" to fit modern English. Also, don't give the KJV a...

Thoughts about using a KJV update?

The English language has barely evolved in the last 100 years. An old dictionary can cure the "thee's and thou's" that folks can't seem to understand. However, school kids still easily the KJV as it stands.

Thoughts about using a KJV update?

I just don't think we need to redefine the Bible to current language changes or woke lifestyles.

Thoughts about using a KJV update?

I was having a good time with KJVish English and giving you my opinion about the KJV "update". Just having a bit of Easter fun my friend.

Thoughts about using a KJV update?

I trow not agree with thou, sire. No, we are already okay with the KJV as it stands. The kooky redefinitions of the left don't require me to redo my Bible. They don't even like God at all.
