CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

Brightfame, I agree with you that being born again is a wonderful gift for anyone to receive in this life. It is a wonderful thing, for any person believer or not a believer, to sit and read Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, Romans, 1 Corinthians, 2 Corinthians, Ephesians, Colossians, Galatians...

CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

When you share the word with others it tends to make them think more about God. The word comes into the mind (soul) of a person and they decide to reject or receive it.

CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

Still have to hear it and then a person decide whether or not they desire the promises of God or not in their life…

CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

You still have to hear the gospel? That would mean learning it to some degree to have a bit of understanding. Everyone starts off a babe in Christ, it took me until I was 26 to finally turn to the LORD.

Does God pick who is saved?

He does try to get the Israelites to pay attention a lot, but they were still hard headed enough to not listen. I’m just curious to know how one is saved to the Kingdom of Heaven? Do we have participation in building up the spiritual body here for the afterlife afterwards?

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

The yous are countless on forums, It’s just child’s play, Christian’s telling Christian’s that they are wrong. And then that’s the end of discussion sometimes. Isn’t it?

Is the Good News actual news? - No longer news to most

There is only great news! The total victory over all things by the Lord Yeshua.

CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

Romans 10:17 - So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ. Hebrews 11:6 - And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. A person can move from a position of hatred.

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

Fighting over the stuff is stupid. Conversation and understanding and being humble is what’s important.

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

The judgements upon those who came out of hell, judgements of Satan and the beast and the false prophet, judgements upon the chained angels, the final judgement of Israel, with the 144,000 being saved, perhaps is whom it pertains to. I’m not sure being a gentile, not knowing very much about the...

Does God pick who is saved?

You may free decide either way. The thought of the question just simply popped into my head, sir.

CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

When it comes to totally depraved and unable to choose God, I would say no. Are we depraved of the spiritual needs until one places God into their life, I would say yes.

Does God pick who is saved?

Thank you for your answer and another question came to my mind. Why didn’t God save Adam and Eve?

Bibliolatry: Worship/knowledge of the book MORE than the author

Yes. If one abides in the vine, it should be Christ in us whom comes through, in virtue of how God desires for us to love. Even through chasement.
  19. MatthewG
