    Passover vs Eucharist

So what? That doesn't prove he was not the leader of the Church (a Pope is Infallible, not Impeccable). You seem to forget that Jesus gave Peter - and only Peter - the "keys of the kingdom of Heaven" - proof that Jesus chose Peter to the leader of the Church. \ And why did Jesus change...

Becoming a perfect Disciple of Christ

You didn't answer my question, so let's try again: If a believer's works are irrelevant to his salvation, why does Paul warn believers in Gal 5 and 1Cor 6 that their sins can result in them ending up in Hell?

    Passover vs Eucharist

Jesus said, "Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day (John 6:54). Then later he said the bread and wine were his body and blood. How do you eat and drink "faith"?

    Passover vs Eucharist

This is also obvious if you read a French Bible. The word for "Peter/rock" in French is "pierre", so a French Bible, in effect reads, "You are Pierre, and on this pierre I will build my Church". So exactly the same word is used for "Peter" and "rock" in that verse in a French Bible.

    Passover vs Eucharist

Which one-and-only apostle did Jesus rename “Rock” the very first time they met (John 1:42)? Which one-and-only apostle did Jesus give the “keys of the kingdom of God” to (Matt 16)? Which one-and-only apostle did Jesus say this to? … “Satan demanded to have you, that he might sift you like...

    Passover vs Eucharist

That’s a poor argument. According to your logic, since Christianity claims to be the one and only true religion, that means Christianity fits the definition of a cult. Jesus claimed to the only Way, Truth and Life, so Jesus and his followers fit the definition of a cult. Speaking of cults...

    Passover vs Eucharist

Disobeying God, by not striving for holiness by keeping God’s commandments - and teaching others to do the same - will certainly ruin your faith ... and maybe even any hope of salvation. “Not every one who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord’ shall enter the kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of...

    Passover vs Eucharist

As for me, I would never ask anyone, “Are you saved?”, as I don’t want to make a fool of myself. “Are you saved?” is the dumbest and most absurd question you could possibly ask anyone - no one can possibly answer that question - only God can know if someone is saved, and Christ doesn’t make...

    Passover vs Eucharist

The errors and sins of certain Catholics - even a Pope - doesn’t prove that the Catholic Church is not the one, true Church that Jesus founded, or disprove any Catholic doctrine.

Becoming a perfect Disciple of Christ

Reading verses literally that shouldn't be read literally leads to junk theology and false beliefs. Little one, it's painfully obvious that you really do need an adult to teach you the correct interpretation of scripture. I suggest you study the Catechism of the Catholic Church instead of...

Becoming a perfect Disciple of Christ

Nothing personal - just pointing out your flawed, illogical theology and the delusion and silly claims that arises from it. No need to pay me, I do this stuff for free.

Becoming a perfect Disciple of Christ

Certainly. The following verses demonstrate that the sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross unconditionally redeemed ALL mankind: “he is the expiation of our sins, and NOT FOR OURS ONLY but also for the sins of the WHOLE WORLD” (1John 2:2) “God our Savior who desires ALL men to be saved … the man...

Becoming a perfect Disciple of Christ

Grace helps us overcome our fallen, sin nature, but it doesn't replace it - not in this life-time, anyhow. Therefore the temptation to sin is always with us, and at some point, all believers give in to temptation and sin. Any believer who claims he never sins is even more deluded than the...

Becoming a perfect Disciple of Christ

News flash: Your opinion, feelings and emotions are not "proof" of anything except your opinion, feelings and emotions. David Koresh was certain he was the Messiah - should I believe him? For all I know, you could be as seriously deluded like Koresh, or even mentally ill, so why should I...

Becoming a perfect Disciple of Christ

You claim you're already saved and are certain to go to Heaven. Why should I believe you? If someone came to me and said, "After I die, I will become a tree", should I believe them, simply because they said it? You claim to be already saved for eternity. If so, prove it. You can't...

Becoming a perfect Disciple of Christ

Notice the last words of v.5 - "in him" - ie. to be "in Christ" a believer must "keep his commandments".

Becoming a perfect Disciple of Christ

Little one, that verse is referring to works WITHOUT FAITH. But Abraham had faith, thus we read that Abraham was justified by his works (James 2:21).

Becoming a perfect Disciple of Christ

Scriptures says Jesus redeemed the entire world and ALL mankind, not some of mankind - ALL mankind. So anyone who has ever lived or will ever live is UNCONDITIONALLY redeemed by the Cross - atheists and pagans and Satan-worshippers included. The Cross alone doesn't not save anyone - what it...

    Passover vs Eucharist

Devastating logic! How much of the NT did Jesus write?

    Passover vs Eucharist

Nonsense. According to the Gospel of John, Jesus changed Simon's name the very first time they met ((John 1:42). These are the very first recorded words Jesus said to Simon: “You are Simon the son of Jonah. You shall be called Cephas” (which is translated 'rock'). Read it. Why did Jesus do...
