I believe that gay people have as much of a "choice" to be gay as you do to not sin

LOL, I just explained this one for Steven yesterday. It speaks of Christ being lifted up on the Cross for the sins of mankind. That is the Gospel, Jesus Christ dying for ours sins and raised on the 3rd day. The draw is the Gospel being given by one man to another. When that Gospel is heard...

I believe that gay people have as much of a "choice" to be gay as you do to not sin

I see nothing wrong whatsoever in hoping God will change His mind, but there is no evidence of that found in Scripture. What brings me to a boil is when the UR insists that He will when they have no evidence, and then they take the Word of God out of context to fit their narrative. This is...

I believe that gay people have as much of a "choice" to be gay as you do to not sin

When you find the dipping in the Lake and the release in Scripture, let me know!

I believe that gay people have as much of a "choice" to be gay as you do to not sin

God can do whatever He wants, but He has said all that will not meet the conditions of His salvation are cast into the Lake of Fire. God operates by established Laws He has made, He abides by them and Satan has no choice but to abide by them. No matter how much you wish or hope, God will abide...

I believe that gay people have as much of a "choice" to be gay as you do to not sin

We can go on with the Bible lessons all night! You are taking all of this out of context because the UR has to do this, they have not one single verse that all will be saved in the end!

I believe that gay people have as much of a "choice" to be gay as you do to not sin

Read the context, Patrick! Paul is speaking of both the Jew and the Gentile needing to be saved. He is saying this because the Jews believed they were saved by being the seed of Abraham and being circumcised by this covenant God gave Abraham.

I believe that gay people have as much of a "choice" to be gay as you do to not sin

He is the Saviour of all men, in the sense that He is the only Saviour. "especially of those who believe" is laying down the conditions of salvation. If one interprets the this the way you do, then John 3:16 is not true. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that...

I believe that gay people have as much of a "choice" to be gay as you do to not sin

Oh yea, I can plainly see it! It says. "I will dip them in the flames and when I see fit, I will release them from the flames of the Lake." Or does it say, He will gather together in the fulness of time those, Vs. 7, "In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins...

I believe that gay people have as much of a "choice" to be gay as you do to not sin

Show me that in Scripture and I will join the UR right now! Don't show me the junk the UR puts out, show me plainly written in Scripture.

I believe that gay people have as much of a "choice" to be gay as you do to not sin

My point is that none of us have an excuse to be found guilty before God. He has provided Grace through Faith in the finished work of Christ that we may be found righteous in His sight. Therefore, no man will stand before God with an excuse!

I believe that gay people have as much of a "choice" to be gay as you do to not sin

I agree that they are no more a sinner than myself. Before I came to Christ I also had a pride in my sins. The point I would like to make is that none of us have an excuse, God has provided a way of deliverance for whatever ails mankind. We have to be willing, trust and believe Him to receive it.

Open discussion about UR - Chapter One

I find it amazing that all of these symptoms, as you call them, fall under the heading "Open discussion about UR." So pointing that out, yes, the True Church will exhibit these "symptoms" when it concerns false doctrine. Did Peter and Paul sit idle when they were presented that which has no...

I believe that gay people have as much of a "choice" to be gay as you do to not sin

There are levels of sin, Christ made this known when He said, "he who has delivered me has the greater sin." There are some of these "greater sins" that God calls "an abomination." Homosexuality is an abomination to God! Paul calls it a crime against nature. Through the fall of man, he has a...

Open discussion about UR - Chapter One

I would appreciate an example and explanation of exactly what a "Bible worshiper" seems to be in your mind. You say I'm not an example, who Is? I don't think they would mind being mentioned, and we can have an idea of you're talking about. It wouldn't bother me at all if I were the example.

Open discussion about UR - Chapter One

I'm a Bible worshiper! I think that's what you call us who take our doctrine from the Scripture. I don't involve myself much in rational discussion, it tends to stray from my Bible worshiping.

Open discussion about UR - Chapter One

You tagged my name on this post, what do you want from me? Clearly you are anti-church unless the UR is added. The wedge!!!!

Trying To Work This Out - Outer Darkness

Jesus said, "I am the light of the world." So "darkness/outer darkness" is the opposite of Christ. It is a state of being whether literally of spiritually. The context, as always determines which. It can be a state of spiritual darkness without the knowledge of Christ, or it can be a literal...

Is the Gift of Salvation nullified by the consequences of refusal?

LOL, ok Ernest, you hold on to your faith and obedience, and I'll hold on to my faith alone depending on Him to fulfill the righteousness in me.

Bibliolatry: Worship/knowledge of the book MORE than the author

You could clear up our understanding by simply showing us in Scripture where and how they get out of the Lake of Fire. Rev. 20:15 "And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." They are plainly in the Lake of Fire, just plainly show us how they get...

Is the Gift of Salvation nullified by the consequences of refusal?

I would say that is sound advice! Just not so easy at times. But yes, Charlie has moved on, always in debt to Him.
