    Coping With Death

I am beginning to think that having cancer is worth it. Never had a closeness or presence of Christ like this in all of my 50 years as a Christian. The words of the song "The Solid Rock" keep going through my head. "On Christ the solid rock I stand; all other ground is sinking sand, when he...

    Coping With Death

There is no comparison to the cup that Jesus had to drink and my cup. We will never know what Jesus suffered to redeem us. When we go to heaven Jesus will be there in a physical body. His scars will be a reminder of the price he paid to redeem us.

    Coping With Death

That is a nice thought but it is not true. God did not create a bunch of mindless robots. I am the captain of my own ship. I am not going to blame God for all of my sinful mistakes.

    A Calvinist Conversation with God

If Jesus had not atoned for the sins of the whole world he would not be in heaven as the "King of Kings and the Lord of Lords" Revelation 19:16. He would still be in Josephs new tomb.

    Coping With Death

Thank you for your concern and your advice. I know and understand everything that you have said. Problem is that I have never had this experience before, it is new to me. I am trying to cope with the fact that I have no earthly future. The next thing is I don't know when I am going to die, and...

    Coping With Death

I am not going to recover. Jesus asked the Father if the cup of death and suffering could pass from him.

    Coping With Death

Sounds good, but I would rather have this cup pass from me like Jesus prayed. I don't have a choice, but I am trying to let go.

    Coping With Death

Right. The Lord has instilled it into us to want to live and be a witness for him.

If you are a Christian and death is inevitable, then Jesus becomes more of a reality in our lives.

    Coping With Death

Thank you, I think that it is good for Christians to know what death is like. I am still trying to let go.

    Coping With Death

Yes, I believe that is why, "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints" Psalm 116:15.

    Coping With Death

I have spiritually entered into his rest, Hebrews 4:10, and now it is time to physically enter into his rest.

    Coping With Death

That's terrible. Both of your parents had cancer at the same time? When there is nothing that can be done, it is then that the Lord is there to help us through it.

    Coping With Death

I am on hospice care because I have cancer. I think that I will be gone within a couple of months. I had a massive heart attack a few years ago, but I seem to have recovered from that. I am not sure what I am going to die from or when I am going to die. I have tried to pin down the hospice...

    Who did God Predestinate?

God only justifies those that hear and believes his Gospel. In the Gospel we are complete in Christ, Colossians 2:10.

    A Calvinist Conversation with God

Your doctrine is a declaration the Jesus is not Lord. The Bible plainly teaches that Jesus has fulfilled every jot and title of the law, Matthew 5:18. The Bible also teaches that Jesus has atoned for the sins of the whole world, 1 John 2:2 and that we are complete in him, Colossians 2:10...

    Predestination: A Calvinist Fairy Tale.

Right. But no scripture that says God has chosen some and damned others.

The Gospel and the Spirit of Anti-Christ.

Here is the problem. It is not possible for you to obey the commandments, because you have been born after Adam.

The Gospel and the Spirit of Anti-Christ.

There are hundreds and thousands of false teachings, this is why God gave us a book.
