in short...It's a work of the Holy Spirit (the Author of Scripture) who convicts us of it's truth as well as illuminate our understanding of His Word. We can't take any 'intellectual' credit...nor ought we belittle others for not believing.

I would argue that 'meaning' is wholly dependent on absolute truth. Otherwise 'meaning' degenerates into opinion and relative gibberish.

There are actually two parts to this question. 1. How is it you came to faith? 2. Why do you continue in this faith you came to? @Truth OT , which of these two are you specifically asking?

That subjectivity still holds some meaning due to the remnants of absolute truth. But when truth becomes reduced to opinion so meaning (whatever is left) will be meaningless.

Meaning has no existence apart from order as compared to chaos. Order is derived from the Logos who has made all things John 1:1 and John 1:3. Without an absolute, meaning is meaningless...just opinion. Without absolute Truth, there is no meaning...just lies and fake news.
