What happened to Hell/Sheol/Hades, the abode for departed souls?

I don't believe that is true.
  2. MatthewG

Couple verses prove saved people are on the earth up until the 2nd coming of Christ, as in His actual appearing and our resurrection.

Why don't you write that down the next time you decide to go shopping, or have someone go the store for you?

Couple verses prove saved people are on the earth up until the 2nd coming of Christ, as in His actual appearing and our resurrection.

Though the only evidence that historically can be given is the destruction of Jerusalem, even the temple being brought down, in 70Ad. By faith, i will choose to accept that Jesus came and was seen as a promised by those who are of faith and they were taken. There was no one left to record this...

Bibliolatry: Worship/knowledge of the book MORE than the author

ScottA, I like you. Youre a very intelligent person. Your interpertation is just to far advanced for me to understand perhaps. People come to revelations by and through, thinking, and asking questions and having those questions answered for themselves alone with God, by the spirit and use of...

What God has revealed he has made known, however to be able to dictate what Gods thoughts and ways are is implausible. Its either I take your word about that or not. That is the fine line, you can suggest anything, one has to investiagate by the spirit if it is true or not.

What are you talking about? People building up the spiritual body in abiding in Christ? I dont discount Jesus at all. I believe everyone dies “in their own order” and in a sense will have a encounter with the LORD GOD Almighty.

Bibliolatry: Worship/knowledge of the book MORE than the author

Ill just believe that God is capable of doing of his choosing. If i start to say I know God in the sense of his mind and ways, I would suggest that I would be completely wrong and out of context. ““For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” declares Yahava.” ‭‭Isaiah‬...

Bibliolatry: Worship/knowledge of the book MORE than the author

@ScottA, do you believe God is able to allow himself to not know things until it happens but consider all the surrounding possibilities of what may come forth? Everyone constantly says God is all knowing. He may be all knowing in what to do when a situation happens, however that doesn't mean he...

Is there anything wrong with considering the evidences of history in general? What is all truth? Because of the whole before the foundation of the world? Why would one need to consider history ever anyway?

Bibliolatry: Worship/knowledge of the book MORE than the author

Whats so significant about "before the foundation of the world?" 1 Peter 1:19-20 King James Version 19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: 20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times...

Yes, those scriptures exist. That is a great thing, when you explaining what you may pertain to thoughts of the afterlife, you will be able to share that there is still hope in the afterlife. I do like revelation 21, and 22 and the details found inside. “And he carried me away in the Spirit...

I do not believe it is. You can called it Christian universalism if you want to but still that doesn't make a difference. One will be need of Christ, and love for God and love for others, in order to get to the Father, by and because of the blood shed of Jesus. I just simply believe in...

Bibliolatry: Worship/knowledge of the book MORE than the author

Steven, I am sorry to inform you. I do not believe in Universalism. Universalism suggests all ways leads to God, and that all people are going to straight in the Kingdom of Heavenly Jerusalem when they pass away from here. Do you see where the purging of fire, and the difference of unbelievers...

Bibliolatry: Worship/knowledge of the book MORE than the author

That is okay steven. I do not believe in Universalism, which says all roads lead right into the Kingdom of Heavenly Jerusalem. I believe that Jesus is the only way to the Father, for those who are seeking for truth.

Bibliolatry: Worship/knowledge of the book MORE than the author

Paul was from the tribe of Benjamin. He knew the scripture very well. Reputation of learning the scrolls helped him in producing also some of the letters that he had produced. Maybe he did not have a personal handy-dandy bible, but he did have extensive knowledge of the scripture, it would be...

Bibliolatry: Worship/knowledge of the book MORE than the author

Steven, I have never accepted Universalism. I have decided to ignorantly, believe in what the bible describes about the Heavenly Realm. So Jesus helped him, understand that the old testament was about himself? Cause I am not sure I do. That type of knowledge not only from the old testament, but...

I do hope that God is with you through daily life, and many other people. Went ahead an answered your question #456, Some of the apostles were looked at as uneducated, and knowing nothing. It just depends on how one decides to tip the boat. Sure. No reason to pat me on the back though, steven...

Bibliolatry: Worship/knowledge of the book MORE than the author

@St. SteVen, You questions are just hypothetical. There is no sense in answering them. If you were imprisoned for your faith and had to live without a Bible, what would you do to maintain your relationship with God? How did Paul handle it? Continued to share the good things that were learned...

Bibliolatry: Worship/knowledge of the book MORE than the author

Okay, may God be with you as you proceed to go about your life, doing his will. I told you I was not interested in the question. It's a polite "no" I am not going to answer your question just because you may desire me to answer it.

Bibliolatry: Worship/knowledge of the book MORE than the author

It's all an assumption, therefore your question is hypothetical, it's alright if you disagree with me. You're asking a person who is already well-read in the bible, as far as most of the New Testament goes.
