    What is the Bible about?

Being that there's an untold number of types and shadows throughout the OT representing Christ and His Cross, and the NT is entirely either directly or indirectly representing Christ, I would say the story of the Bible is the story of the redemption of man through faith in the finished work of...

Bibliolatry: Worship/knowledge of the book MORE than the author

Yes, I typed out your name not realizing the capital V at the time. Keep me straight on my spelling, I have no doubt you will. Were you an English teacher at some point in time, or is that just a pet peeve. The Bible questions can be contemplated as you read it on line, I don't care for that...

    Renewable Salvation

Don't let the Judaizers of this present day steal your salvation, Brother! Eph. 1:13 "In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,"

    Renewable Salvation

It is the case for you, you have admitted you're a sinner before God in that very post, you have asked God for His mercy as a sinner. That results in one thing, my Brother, you have justified before God and gloriously saved by His amazing Grace. Listen to what Jesus said of this man and see if...

    Renewable Salvation

John closes out his 1st epistle giving us the assurance of our salvation. 1 John 5:13-15 "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. And this is the...

    Renewable Salvation

John tells us how we keep the commandments in 1 John 3:22-23. "And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one...

    Renewable Salvation

What the Christian world has lost track of, and thereby erred in the way, is joining Justification and sanctification as the means of salvation. We are justified before God by faith in the finished work of Christ, period! We are set apart for good works in our sanctification, which is the will...

    Renewable Salvation

This is the very reason Martin Luther nailed his 95 thesis to the church door in Wittenberg, Germany. With the attachment, "the just shall live by faith." He rejected out of hand that faith + works = salvation. And so the Reformation began!

    Renewable Salvation

It's Law or Grace, Works or Faith, it cannot be both, it's one or the other. You are following James' comments not realizing what he is saying, and outright denying Paul. Gal. 3:10-14 "For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that...

    Renewable Salvation

Amen Brother! All because of mans pride in his works. He is proud of those works and is holier than thou as he performs them. While totally ignoring Paul, and making the Grace of our Lord void and of none effect.

    Renewable Salvation

Spoken as a true Law keeper of his own abilities, making the Grace of God void. Rom. 11:5-6 "Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace. And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works...

    Renewable Salvation

What you are teaching is more precious than gold or silver. Sometimes it has to be said crudely to be understood. Nevertheless, it must be told. It seems one with this message may think it just evaporates into thin air, but His Word will not return unto Him void, but will accomplish that which...

    Renewable Salvation

Hello Robert! Would you answer me a question? Just be straight forward, I believe we should be straight forward with the things concerning our Lord. Must a man perform good works added to his faith to be born-again? Paul said that a mans works can be burned up, but despite the works being...

    Renewable Salvation

I carry a constant burden in my heart for these people, Behold. I want to show them that they don't have to carry that responsibility and fear. If they would just trust Christ and give Him that responsibility, the joy in the Lord will return. He asks very little of us, He asks that we trust...

    Renewable Salvation

I agree, It's all about our faith in the finished work of Christ! I feel for those who are burdened down with Law and Commandment keeping, who bear that constant load in fear. Matt. 11:28-30 "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon...

    Renewable Salvation

@Behold Keep up the good work! Your labor is not in vain, but will accomplish the will of God!

    Renewable Salvation

That is what I've been teaching for years, it is the unforgivable sin, the accepting of Christ and turning from Him, no longer having faith in His finished work. Which in return is rejecting the indwelling Holy Spirit, putting Him to shame, while trampling under foot the Son of God.

    Renewable Salvation

Yes, It's a very serious matter! It's pure ignorance to be honest. The context proves that this willful sin is not just any and every sin, but a particular sin, the new Hebrew converts turning from Christ. I don't see how it is possible for these poor souls to believe this lie they've been...

Bibliolatry: Worship/knowledge of the book MORE than the author

@Steven Have you not read Heb. 1:1-2? "God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;" How do you think Christ...

Bibliolatry: Worship/knowledge of the book MORE than the author

My goodness Brother, you are having a difficult time understanding the Scripture. We would have no knowledge of Christ, not a clue of how to be saved without the "Written Word."
