    Yes and no. No one fully understands the infinite. But God isn't hiding himself. He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation... And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together... Of course we can not fully grasp this. But we know enough.

    But people do return to the law. They just change it a bit. They try to earn salvation by wearing certain clothes, attending church more often, putting money in the plate, doing good deeds and so on. If one relays on these things to save them, they have created their own law and bypassed the cross.
