    Bible Problem

It can be trustingly assumed that God's Word would be contained in the right translation, as He would not withhold any of His Words to us. It just has to be plenary first (Mat 4:4), even though the translation isn't perfect, the Word of God within the translation is; this is how God works--using...

    Pauline “Mysteries”

The Lord Jesus Christ lived and spoke to His apostles while He was on earth, and in His natural state; and He chose Paul to reveal many things that nobody knew about. He appeared and spoke to Paul from the “glorified state” (about 8 years after His resurrection). Isn’t it like the Father to...

List of Totally and Partially Omitted Passages in the Modern Translations

Omissions are only one of a few problems with the Critical Text (Alexandrian Text types), which conflicts with Christ's Words, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God." (Mat 4:4). You would be surprised how many advocates of this text that do...

List of Totally and Partially Omitted Passages in the Modern Translations

He knew most would reject Him; He also knew it would be worth the few who would receive Him!

List of Totally and Partially Omitted Passages in the Modern Translations

The Lake of Fire, where Hell will be cast, is not intended as a ploy of fear, but of warning for the soul; and we know that most are choosing (ignorantly) to go that way (Mat 7:13, 14).

List of Totally and Partially Omitted Passages in the Modern Translations

“As the Emperor Constantine embraced Christianity, it became necessary for him to choose which Bible he would sanction. He preferred the one edited by Eusebius and written by Origen, the outstanding intellectual figure that had combined Christianity with Gnosticism in his philosophy, even as...

List of Totally and Partially Omitted Passages in the Modern Translations

All the "modern" versions, except the NKJV and Bibles that use the same manuscripts as the KJV. Thanks for asking!

List of Totally and Partially Omitted Passages in the Modern Translations

Hi, and thanks for the reply! The verses which the false translations omit are in most of the manuscript copies (Majority Text). It's always best to trust what the majority of manuscripts say over the few manuscripts.

List of Totally and Partially Omitted Passages in the Modern Translations

It's one of the few that is not changed. It used the most (99%) of existing manuscript copies. The others use the three old corrupt copies.

    You Are Not You

Yes, how we live is the main theme, because it's how well we will be used to draw the lost!

    You Are Not You

Correct my Brother! One who is truly saved will not desire to sin because of Phl 2:13. "For whom the Lord loveth he chastens" (Hebrews 12:6). We are never in trouble with God, nor do we displease Him. He knows many are immature and takes the time to mature them. Same here, we've been sharing...

List of Totally and Partially Omitted Passages in the Modern Translations

Hi, God bless, and nice reply--well said! If more Christians would read more of the Word (the right Word) they would be surprised to see how fast and complete their spiritual growth would follow. If we can't be encouraged by reading Scripture, there's nothing else that will have any lasting effect!

    You Are Not You

Hi, and always appreciate your replies! Though God sees our sin nature and our sins, and knows the future sins which He already takes into account, He doesn't think on them, nor regards them anymore, because He keeps us in His forgiveness. He already knows all the wrongs we will do, but has...

Hi and thanks for you interest! All the modern translations us these corrupted manuscripts except for the NKJV.

List of Totally and Partially Omitted Passages in the Modern Translations

There are only two sources of manuscripts, and one is corrupted. The Majority Text consists of about 5000 manuscripts, which only the Traditional Texts uses for their translation. The other manuscript source is the Minority Text, which uses only a few, but ancient manuscript copies for their...

It is obvious to one who reads and studies the Word often (not suspecting you of this since I don't know you).

List of Totally and Partially Omitted Passages in the Modern Translations

Hi, and like all you said here, and appreciate you presenting your opinion and desire! The reason why there are so many KJV-only believers is because they may not be familiar with other translations that use the same source as the KJ (some examples: Young's Literal Translation; Webster's...

List of Totally and Partially Omitted Passages in the Modern Translations

The third mistake is interpolating and transposing Scripture, which the three corrupted ancient copies often do; and this dramatically changes the intended thought line of the original writers of Scripture. I believe most Christians are not going to find this OP very interesting, because many...

    You Are Not You

A lady traveling alone on a cruise ship became very concerned about the stormy waters they were encountering on the sea. It was an older vessel and was taking quite a beating, so she hurriedly went to the Captain’s helm, found the Captain and asked him what are we going to do? He calmly said, do...
