Thoughting again!....oh no, is that allowed?

Jesus was/is God incarnate. Not a created being.

And The Final Verdict Is,.. GUILTY!!!

Nope he was saying that long before. Because he was high as a kite.

And The Final Verdict Is,.. GUILTY!!!

He said that long before they kneeled on him.

And The Final Verdict Is,.. GUILTY!!!

You can not convict somebody for murder because they were a "moron" and made a few bad choices. "Murder" indicates intent to kill.

What do you think about gender equality in Christianity?

What is gender equality? We are not equal... we are supposed to be different. I can not give birth or nurture a child in the same way a woman can. God designed us this way.

And The Final Verdict Is,.. GUILTY!!!

Manslaughter at the most. It wasn't a homicide. How can you call an accidental killing murder?

WE ARE NOT SAVED BY WORKS...WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

Unless you are incapable of getting off the couch due to disabilities. At any rate, it's your faith that saves you, not whatever works your faith produces. Saying a decision is a work is absurd. The Bible makes a clear distinction between faith and works. Lots of people have been saved and never...

WE ARE NOT SAVED BY WORKS...WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

"For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them." And of course...

WE ARE NOT SAVED BY WORKS...WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

That's not all they were reacting to. The Jews didn't get that, but if you really read the passage they were reacting to him saying he came down from heaven.

WE ARE NOT SAVED BY WORKS...WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

I've taken communion. But it doesn't save and Jesus doesn't claim it does. It's a symbolic ritual to commemorate his death for us.

WE ARE NOT SAVED BY WORKS...WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

Thoughts and even actions such as praying are not what is meant by works biblically.

WE ARE NOT SAVED BY WORKS...WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

So you do believe in works salvation. There's thosands of Christians that aren't baptized and rarely or never take communion. And you realize that many Protestants do not read the passage above eating his flesh in John as being about communion?

WE ARE NOT SAVED BY WORKS...WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

    It's certainly implied.

    Freedom To Sin

Has anyone else been honest enough to admit they do occasionally wake up wanting to do something they know is wrong? (Cautiously raises hand) "Guilty."

WE ARE NOT SAVED BY WORKS...WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

Billy could do this all at home and still be saved. Without baptism or Communion. His faith might then lead him to a public confession of some kind and a church and Communion, but those things didn't save him.

WE ARE NOT SAVED BY WORKS...WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

I don't believe that looking into it is actually a work. If I buy a book on a certain subject because I'm curious about it is that a work?

They believe that Maa (mother) Ganga will save them from this pandemic

I think it's wrong to make fun of their faith, misplaced though it is. I hope God shows them mercy.
  18. R

Why, if God is sovereign, is there a global pandemic?

No. Sin is the absence of good. God holds matter together. You are taking the verse out of context.

    Hyper-Grace

How much grace do we receive before it becomes hyper? Can you measure grace?

    Calvinist Question

It only makes sense to committed calvinists! :)
