Clarification from the Mod's that it is a private forum and folks who want notifications need to hit the watch tab on the top right.

@marks As a matter of interest how are you viewing our Friendly Bible Study ? Did someone give you the link to it ? Some folks PM'ed me for the link and may have shared it more widely - we are trying to figure it out...

Yes @Rita - I apologise for the situation - I have no idea how some members seem to see us, and our own members miss out on notifications but @Angelina is looking into it. Maybe some have PM'ed me and shared the link to our 'private space' with others. Very sorry for your concern.

I believe the posts are visible to all but participation is conditional on adhering to the Nicene Creed and not debating Trinity. @Angelina understands how it was set up and can confirm. FYI - I have just asked her about members not getting notifications.

So what part of this passage do you find offensive ?

    Is anyone else a Seer?

It is interesting that during a revival in a girls school in Upper Volta a missionary I knew, Brian Woodford visited the school at which the girls had been in worship for 3 days. When he photographed the girls - those with hands raised in worship all had a bronze light on them in the photo but...

    Is anyone else a Seer?

Before my life got cleaned up I used to see aura's. By this I do not comment on your experience - I would need a lot more detail and discernment. I have a recognised prophetic input in the Church I currently attend. In a previous Church I bought an accurate word to the Pastor which was...

Friendly Bible Study - participants must agree to Nicene Creed.

Hi Marks, Yes the Nicene Creed is essential agreement and it eliminates a lot of contention. The only other rule is to avoid debate on the trinity. It seems there is a technical issue with folks getting alerts so I will pass this onto the Mods. Nice to have you showing interest. :)

What did Jesus die to save us from?

Peshitta - Rev 20 7And whenever the 1000 years are finished, Satan will be released from his imprisonment, 8And he will go forth to seduce all the nations in the four corners of The Earth: Gog and Magog, to gather them to war, those whose number is as the sand of The Sea. 9And they went to war...

Yep... worth a try... I am looking at the next topic being the Baptism in the Holy Spirit - I could get into Acts or one of Paul's letters. Do you have a preference???

What did Jesus die to save us from?

You can snip out all the references to hell if you want to but you will run the risk of the consequences mentioned in the last few verses of Revelation 22 18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in...

What did Jesus die to save us from?

Yes... Death - and also the curse of the Fall and the curse of the Law.

Is God Magnanimous? - (as opposed to tyrannical)

Anger is not a sin depending on the motive... Ephesians 4:26 Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, Regarding Noah - the reason for the flood was mans mistakes not God's. Give man the power to be wicked and you have a catastrophe which is precisely what happened...

Is God Magnanimous? - (as opposed to tyrannical)

Not a trace of that - I conclude that you are well meant at heart - but struggle with what His book says about Him. Born in corruption and subject to the wrong kingdom until we are born again. Doesn't sound much like His Holiness. Revenge is a sin - taking over God's responsibility. In the...
