Why the Lord Comes on earth: To Inherit and Rule the nations

I thought so, this isn't saying what you think it is. Historically and until 70 ad the temple was the "jobsite" for the Levites, their "pay" was a portion of the offerings/sacrifices with which to feed them and their families. That tradition extends to the preachers of the gospel (now that...

Location please because I suspect you're not understanding things correctly. Paul would never say that and Jesus would never condone that.

We Are Not Appointed to "ETERNAL" Wrath

I believe "most" of Zech. 14 is post mill. It doesn't say or imply that he is arriving, simply that he is standing there helping his people get to safety. He won't stand on the earth until "after" Armageddon. I believe Armageddon to be history hear and is what is spoken of in vss. 1-2 but then I...

We Are Not Appointed to "ETERNAL" Wrath

Just my opinion but I think the "many" in Dan. 9:27 unfortunately means the majority, greater than a small group.

Why the Lord Comes on earth: To Inherit and Rule the nations

If sacrifices returned once Christ was here than the common belief would be that Christ's sacrifice wasn't sufficient. The only place any of that is mentioned is in Ez. 40+ and I already explained why that was. The Levites will no longer be the only priests as they used to be, there will be no...

We Are Not Appointed to "ETERNAL" Wrath

I'll give you an A for originality, scripturaly incorrect, but something I hadn't heard before.

We Are Not Appointed to "ETERNAL" Wrath

When did Messiah the prince come in fulfillment of this particular prophecy? At birth? No, At the beginning of his ministry? No. It was when he fulfilled Zech. 9:14 just a couple of days before his death, thus it was his death that closed the 69th week. Sorry but Jesus doesn't need to give up...

Why the Lord Comes on earth: To Inherit and Rule the nations

    1. All the seven feasts were types for parts of his advents, the four spring feasts were types of his first advent and the three fall feasts are types of his second advents. These are truly types and I have a paper on it I could repost if you like. 2. If Israel had learned from their captivity...

We Are Not Appointed to "ETERNAL" Wrath

Really, dude, try reading the passage as written. It's the "people of the " prince to come that will destroy the city, that prince wasn't Titus nor was he in 70ad. The Roman armies were made up of conscripted soldiers from the conquered nations surrounding Israel. The future prince, the a/c will...

We Are Not Appointed to "ETERNAL" Wrath

There is nothing in Rev. that explicitly connects it to the 70th week at all except our presumptions and similar symbolism but I do agree it's about the 70th week but why should God need to repeat himself. It's up to us to rightly divide the word of truth and many times the expected outcome...

Why the Lord Comes on earth: To Inherit and Rule the nations

The only reason they will observe the feast of tabernacles is, as a type, it's the final feast to be realized when Messiah dwells w/ man. It will be more like Christmas because it's about the 2nd advent and the first won't be as important. There will be no sacrifices and the law of Moses will...

The Woman Wonder in Heaven (Rev 12) isn't Israel:

Yes, she does represent Israel and this sign is to prove that, as it is taken from a dream of Joseph;s found in Gen. 37:9

Why the Lord Comes on earth: To Inherit and Rule the nations

Good post but the law will never return and the daily sabbath rest has been in effect since the resurrection.

We Are Not Appointed to "ETERNAL" Wrath

Dan. 9:27 isn't about Jesus at all, it's about the a/c. This is not a holy covenant it's simply a temporary peace treaty of sorts. The narrative about Christ ends him being "cut off" at the end of the 69th week, then we have 70ad and the prince to come is the evil one spoken of in many...

We Are Not Appointed to "ETERNAL" Wrath

Nope, the covenant in Dan. 9:27 is not a holy covenant, it's simply a temporary peace treaty involving Israel and the a/c that allows them to return to the sacrificial system for a while. Historicism is the eschatology of the impatient and not a bit of truth to it.

We Are Not Appointed to "ETERNAL" Wrath

are you familiar w/ speaking forward in faith. That's what this is "calling those things which be not as though they were. The end of this era will be shortly after this but God has to wrap up a few things first before the millennium can begin.

23 major reasons to reject the Premil doctrine!

Yep, and after that, there will be Armageddon followed by the sheep and goat judgment and then the total fulfillment of Dan. 9:24 when the nation of Israel brings in everlasting righteousness, the Messiah for the true and eternal triumphal entry.

We Are Not Appointed to "ETERNAL" Wrath

The 7th trump has no more prophetic meaning than any of the other trumpet judgments other than being the last part of the wrath of the Lamb and introducing the third woe. There is still the vial judgments of God's wrath and Armageddon yet to go. Dan. 9:24-27 isn't about Christ, it's about the...

We Are Not Appointed to "ETERNAL" Wrath

Use of the two words does not equal 'The Abomination of Desolation". Seeing as Jesus is the word I believe He knows his word and wouldn't quote a generality for a specific thing. The quote stems from either Dan. 11:31 or 12:11. The AoD is a specific thing and it's fulfillment can be found in...

23 major reasons to reject the Premil doctrine!

What can I say, the scope of prophecy is abundantly clear that Messiah will reign upon the earth for a 1000 yrs.
