The OP says "dwell within them" which is tantamount to saying posession. A Christian being opressed does not have an indwelling demon, there's no rooom since the Holy Spirit has taken up residence.

Then the Holy Spirit is not in them and they are not authentic Christians if they are indwelt by demons. 1Cor. 3:16: "do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you." It is not the Holy Spirit plus a demon or demons.
