It was a rough day back when the Lord pointed out I was who that was written for. Praise God there's a fix, but repentance requires admitting we were wrong. Til that happens, forgiveness is impossible. We're stuck u.ntil we finally come to realize Word, all of it, was written for ME......ouch

what if God was warning us to be aware an increase in lawlessness will cause OUR love to grow cold? Many posts here are an icebath....why?

we tend to read the good things from scripture as applying to us...and all the negative things as applying to "them"

Those that understand both kinds of death, and how they affect us in Christ, have an opportunity opened for consideration....unavailable to us prior to that understanding

easier once we truly realize that death of this flesh will be liberation.....and the second death has no power over us since our new birth :)

One thing modern, western Christianity has failed to teach much about is the millennial reign. Anyone ever stopped to consider who will populate the earth in that 1000 year season when He is physically present, ruling the nations of this world from Jerusalem?

There is a very coherent, scripture based paradigm that explains this rather clearly...but this is a difficult crowd for discussions :)
