    The common denominator

You just contradicted yourself. Are we born heretics or not? A baby earned hell? What? Jesus said to become like a child, because they are innocent.

HELP, I'M A UNIVERSALIST - CAN SOMEONE BRING ME INTO THE FRESH WATERS OF 'ETERNAL DAMNATIONISM'?

In the same chapter: 32 Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come. And the Isaiah quote has nothing to do with everybody being saved. It's about justice and a...

Human Freewill the devil's greatest trick

So grace is only irresistible until you are saved, then we resist? What a silly idea.

HELP, I'M A UNIVERSALIST - CAN SOMEONE BRING ME INTO THE FRESH WATERS OF 'ETERNAL DAMNATIONISM'?

Jesus doesn’t only reference hell, he describes it in great detail. He says it is a place of eternal torment (Luke 16:23), of unquenchable fire (Mark 9:43), where the worm does not die (Mark 9:48), where people will gnash their teeth in anguish and regret (Matt. 13:42), and from which there is...

HELP, I'M A UNIVERSALIST - CAN SOMEONE BRING ME INTO THE FRESH WATERS OF 'ETERNAL DAMNATIONISM'?

Jesus is the one who talked about hell the most, to warn people who would say what you just said. Paying for the sins of everyone doesn't mean everyone accepts that payment. You can not force someone to take a gift or it's no longer a gift. And God doesn't damn anyone, they damn themselves by...

    The common denominator

Yeah, It thought I smelled Calvinism's confusion bringing influence. It's pretty easy to smell. It takes happy Christians, bathing in God's love and makes them question if he is loving at all so that they end up questioning whether they are even saved. Just say no and jump back into God's love...

    The common denominator

I'm confused by his whole post. Ok, then, if one is born a heretic, then there's nothing one can do about that. How is that just? Biblically no one is born a heretic. We are born capable of great evil or great good depending on who we choose to follow, God or Satan.

HELP, I'M A UNIVERSALIST - CAN SOMEONE BRING ME INTO THE FRESH WATERS OF 'ETERNAL DAMNATIONISM'?

Having mercy on all clearly doesn't mean all will be saved. You have to ignore all the verses about judgement to get there...and they are many.

Jesus talked more about eternal damnation than anyone else. Look it up.

HE THAT KEEPS MY SAYINGS SHALL NEVER SEE DEATH - JOHN 8:51

Billy didn't die. He just went to his reward.

    WHY CHRISTIANS ARE STILL DYING

The diciples, sone of whom wrote the Bible, didn't follow him, but you are? I'm starting to think you're just some 13 year old kid putting outrageous stuff on here for fun.

HE THAT KEEPS MY SAYINGS SHALL NEVER SEE DEATH - JOHN 8:51

One verse theology is always deficient. Context is everything. Jesus has already pointed out that the men attacking Him have no interest in the message of God. He has used various expressions to convey this: they "do not believe" (John 8:46), they "do not hear" (John 8:47), "the word finds no...

HE THAT KEEPS MY SAYINGS SHALL NEVER SEE DEATH - JOHN 8:51

gobblygook. Or more like a child on the playground shouting incoherently. If you don't present clear teaching, no one is going to understand it. and you certainly have not presented your theology clearly.

    WHY CHRISTIANS ARE STILL DYING

Yeah, well, all the disciples died, so..that's an inconvenient truth for ya.

    The common denominator

There's no one good in the flesh, or of the world, but we are not of the flesh or the world. We have the Spirit that overcomes the world, the flesh and the devil.

    The common denominator

So, I'm a little confused. If there's no free will choices than how can one choose to be a heretic?

    Robots and Will Worshipers

And you are arguing against what scripture says. No, God does not ultimately cause everything. Nowhere does scripture make that claim. Yes, he is the ultimate authority, but as that authority, he can choose to give as much freedom to his creation as he pleases. He did not in any way cause his...

    WHY CHRISTIANS ARE STILL DYING

You can always tell a future cult leader by his arrogance. All you do is insult people you know nothing about. I expect you will take your three followers and live in the desert somewhere until you die. It's a shame, too, because if you actually tried to understand scripture you could find the...

It didn't enter his mind. Therefore he did not in any way cause or control it. Knowledge is not the issue.
