i agree its very simple, so simple almost no one can see it. why would the Father send an example for us to follow when He is not one of us therefore making it impossible to follow Him.

if i remember John is the only gospel that calls the Jewish priest leaders "the Jews" the other gospels make it pretty clear that Jesus is battling with specific Jewish groups. i never liked the term because its very misleading, Jesus, the 12, John the baptist, and the crowds that followed...

there are references to it in the DSS, they were the sect of John the baptist. there were also other Jewish groups that wrote about it. the idea was not invented by rome for sure.

Jesus was the perfect example so if we follow that example we should be just as divine as Jesus.

there were several other gospels in the early days, Thomas, the 12, Mary, Peter and a few more. they were known and accepted by many, it was not until rome merged with the faith that people began to have problems with them.

the nations were always welcome to worship in the Jewish faith, but for some reason we are taught today to believe nations were never accepted until Jesus came. how many times does the Father call Israel a nation of priest, priest to who? themselves, that would make little sense.

where in acts 2 does it say the teachings of Jesus have changed?

and any gospel teaching that can not be confirmed in those books i would be skeptical of. on a side note i would add the gospel of Thomas to the four canons.

right on BB Mark 11:17 And he was teaching them and saying to them, “Is it not written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer for all the nations’? But you have made it a den of robbers.” what you think Jesus meant saying His Fathers house was meant for all nations?

i believe there is only one gospel, the gospel of Jesus.

i consider the individual and what they believe rather than the group they were born into. i am a baptist but disagree with much of their ideas.

i agree with a lot of what he says but i think he could tone it down a bit, not be so bold. maybe he is just suspended, i really dont know how they go about things here. a few sites ban without warning, this site always seemed better about fairness and censorship.
