We had a spiritual death with original sin ..that was our link to God's orderly Kingdom. Satan was here before us. We relinquished authority when we decided to enter this place. The authority defaulted to Satan. Sin from a human is different than an angel.

Why does anything have to be physical is a universe of waves? Dust sounds like particles to me. And particles can be in waveform when not observed.

I think God saw that there wasn't a situation where he could prevent us from eventually falling. We are here to learn why sin is wrong.
