    A difficult question:

We choose, just as in this foreshadowing of our choice to believe or not to believe: Deuteronomy 30:19 I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live.

If you found you were in the wrong faith, would you change?

"Saved" and "salvation" are synonymous. The key word here is "Hebrews." Who, being of that ("this") generation of Christ, were on the cusp of salvation's coming, of whom Jesus said, "some standing here will not taste death till they see the kingdom of God present with power.”...some, but not...

    Thy Kingdom come.

I was not referring to the gentiles, but making them an exception to what has already been fulfilled, as being all that remains unfulfilled of the prophecies that Jesus said would all occur during that ("this") "generation." So, do you believe that there are any of the end time prophecies that...

    Non-Trinitarians, Please Answer This

Okay, this is what I was referring to: Which, if you consider and take to heart Jesus' prayer to the Father...would not result in a "spirit being" like the "angels", but would rather result in Oneness with God.

    How should we handle beggars?

Yeah, Jesus didn't say enable evil doers.

    Wait upon the LORD.

Wow...so many 'isms! But no, just Christian. In which case I should believe that when Jesus said, "I am going to the Father", "Behold, I am coming quickly!", and "I am with you always, even to the end of the age” that it is all true. And I do. As for the origin of the idea of waiting on the...

    Wait upon the LORD.

Indeed, it is a wonderful passage. But it has been adopted by the church as applying to the return of Jesus as if He did not already go to the Father and return in spirit to be with us until the end of the age, just as He said.

If you found you were in the wrong faith, would you change?

If one is saved they have been set free from sin and death by being born again of the spirit of God, and have become one with Him.

    Thy Kingdom come.

As I said, I don't know all that your denomination believes, so I will put it this way: Anything and everything other than the fullness of the times of the gentiles, that you believe has not been fulfilled yet.

You have not taken the truth of Jesus's prayer of Him, us, and the Father as being ONE in the end, to heart.

To say that "Jesus is no longer a man." Then say "Jesus is NOT God." is a contradiction. The matter is better understood as Jesus revealed in His prayer, saying "that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me." John 17:22 Which is to say as "You" [Father], meaning, "We" "may...

Why don’t you believe Satan has been defeated?

:) Nothing in Time is "literal." It is rather as it was written from the beginning, man being made in God's image--it's all just an image of what is written. Time does not tick in the heaven--in God. It is an illusion not unlike a motion picture (image) of each person in their own time unfolded...

It is a good study. Thanks! But are not all these things, of God, by God, and do they not rather define God in all His goodness? Indeed, God has shown Himself in Christ, and made Himself known in all His ways. How do I love thee? Let me count the ways!

If you found you were in the wrong faith, would you change?

It is an absurd question, even defying the very meaning of the word--it is against the character of God as being "good." But yes, saved is saved, or it is not.

    Thy Kingdom come.

I do not, but do not because I am no expert in the denomination. But I will say, that I have heard enough to know that they too have succumb to the lie first taught among the early church. That being the lie against Christ, saying "things which must shortly take place" would not. From which have...

Why don’t you believe Satan has been defeated?

Not sure what aspect you mean. But Time is as much an image and a vehicle of revelation as man is of God. It is the media of God's choosing to reveal all things to His children, as the reading of a story before bed, from which we awaken in the morning. "This generation", that is, that...

pre·des·ti·na·tion noun (as a doctrine in Christian theology) the divine foreordaining of all that will happen, especially with regard to the salvation of some and not others. fore·or·dain verb (of God or fate) appoint or decree (something) beforehand. That is all quite different than the...

Why don’t you believe Satan has been defeated?

But if not for assumed use of language, why do you consider the parallel to show them both as not being "from" or before the foundation of the world? And with anticipation of your answer...how then does that reconcile with "predestinate?" Rom 8:29

And yet, to Christ alone, it was given as a Name, rather than merely the power of God among men.
