When to look for the rapture of the church

Perhaps, but there's nothing in scripture that claims the confirmation will be a public event. It could be some guy in the back of a meeting room just nodding his head.

When to look for the rapture of the church

It all depends on the timing of it. The fact of it can't be disputed. It means one thing and one thing only, our being gathered up to him to meet him in the sky as scripture depicts.

When to look for the rapture of the church

Hi Copperhead, Your way of analyzing this scripture makes no sense. Within the context of vs. 2 the subject changes that the day will NOT come. Until the subject changes again anything after that is explaining why it hasn't come yet. The way you're interpreting it, it would read...by our being...

When to look for the rapture of the church

Or the scripture within the context is speaking of a departure from the faith.

When to look for the rapture of the church

Neither the church nor the HS are the ones preventing him from setting up the a of d. In fact, Paul explicitly states in 1 Thess. 2:3, that the day of Christ's return will NOT happen until the man of sin is revealed and I believe that revelation won't occur until he demands worship per Rev. 13:4.

Why the Church Will Endure the Great Tribulation (part 2)

However, not all will be martyrs! Some of us will just give up our luxuries and the simple things like a roof over our head and food in our stomach because we will refuse to accept the mark of the beast that will allow us those simples pleasures. Our faith will be in God to provide for us and He...

Why the Church Will Endure the Great Tribulation (part 1)

I believe I can answer this question through God's word. "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches." I think it's safe to assume that the whole bible is God's message to the church in one way or another via 2 Tim. 3:16 - “All scripture is given by inspiration of God...

When to look for the rapture of the church

I think our time of looking should be exactly when the scripture says in Lk. 21:28 which are the signs of the sixth seal.

Trump is the worst President to hold this office

All I will and can say with certainty is when the next liberal democrat gets elected to president, at best, God's grace will be removed from America and our self destruction will be assured, at worst, it will self-destruct via a civil war.

WHY ARE MANY OF US STILL HERE?

Sorry, but the pope ain't going to be the anti-christ but right there in your statement you acknowledged dispensationalism. One, the times of Israel, two, the times of the gentiles, the OT and the NT, two dispensations!!!

WHY ARE MANY OF US STILL HERE?

The spiritual kingdom yes, but the physical kingdom which has been prophesied about way more, No.

WHY ARE MANY OF US STILL HERE?

Actually, history did this because if a prophecy isn't 100% fulfilled, it is 0% fulfilled.

WHY ARE MANY OF US STILL HERE?

I'm not a believer in the stricter aspects of dispensationalism but I believe it is over 2000 yrs. old because it originates with the phrase. "when the times of the gentiles are fulfilled"

WHY ARE MANY OF US STILL HERE?

I'm not your typical dispensationalist but I've never heard of one (and I was raised Pentecostal) that believes the Sermon on the Mount isn't for today. I think that is a gross case of stereotyping of off mainline denominations, but if you think it affirms what many of us consider legalism, then...

WHY ARE MANY OF US STILL HERE?

Jesus lived and taught under the law to become the only man to have lived a perfect life making him the only one worthy to be sacrificed on the rest of humanity's behalf. Paul was tasked with teaching us how to live a godly life now that the law had been fulfilled and completed. That doesn't...

Trump is the worst President to hold this office

Hmmm 1 Co. 15:52 - "In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed."

I don't see a single thing wrong with anything you posted as problems. Sounds like you have something against freedom.

Prophecy Alert: "The Fig Tree Generation"

So would it be safe to say your pov is post-millennium? Do you consider the "next age" and the millennium to be the same thing?
