"I never knew you: depart from me, you that work inquity."

Well of course hell is a part of scripture, and how do you wind up there? By unbelief or disobedience? God bless

Once Saved....always Saved - Results of Questionnaire.

    (1) That's true, but the good and bad are going in two different directions Ernest. (Bema seat and Great White Throne) (2.) That's right He didn't. Jesus will remember the thief. (3.) Was not the thief dying on the cross when he believed? No, only the blood of Christ saves. You get baptized in...

    OSAS and Two Misused Passages

I didn't answer it the way you wanted, right. Yes, 1 Cor 3:9-17 and 1 John 2:19 are strong OSAS passages. 1 Cor 3:14-15 is referring to the rewards a believer receives at the Bema seat or doesn't receive. 1 John 2:19 is referring to those who don't "belong" to Christ. One must be...

    Wanting To Work

Ernest, how do we stop believing when we've been sealed until redemption? Eph 1:13-14 Judas died before Pentecost and before the seal of God was placed on believers. It's only adding to the cross if you believe that God sends believers to hell because of disobedience. Do you believe that, or...

    Wanting To Work

That's right. God help us if Christ didn't come down, walk the earth for 33 years and die a horrible death, and for what ? to become the savior of humanity? Gen 6:5 The LORD saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of...

    OSAS and Two Misused Passages

    (1) Well, you can ask that question in many ways (car accidents etc..). If John Doe repents on Monday and lives for God two weeks straight and then falls into sin on Saturday and dies in a car accident that night, is he going to hell? Ernest, you are using your own logic and imagination to...

Once Saved....always Saved - Results of Questionnaire.

BOL, the symbolism represents the action that took place, Jesus dying on the cross. When we come to faith in Christ (Rom 10:9) we become a part of His body and also His blood because we believed in the shedding blood of Jesus Christ when He died on the cross. We believe what He did on the cross...

    Wanting To Work

Ernest, the term "lost" in scripture is referring to nonbelievers who never came to faith in Jesus Christ. John 6:39 And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise them up at the last day. God bles

"I never knew you: depart from me, you that work inquity."

Because you're adding hell to your doctrine. Right, believers going to hell because of disobedience is not found in the Bible. So why are you preaching that?

"I never knew you: depart from me, you that work inquity."

How do you break a covenant that's been sealed until redemption, Eph 1:13-14. You see, to the religious God's love is conditional so you have to earn it, so they place true believers back under the law when in reality we're under Grace. It's against our nature. It's like asking me to be Michael...

Once Saved....always Saved - Results of Questionnaire.

Hi Ernest. Thank you for your posts. My response is in three parts. (1.) There were no commas or punctuation in the original Greek text. If you place the comma after "today", how do you see it now in Luke 23:43? Do you see the thief being raised at first resurrection? (2.) Then Jesus lied, and...

    Wanting To Work

It adds to what Christ did if believers can lose their salvation and end up in hell. God bless

"I never knew you: depart from me, you that work inquity."

I guess believers work to keep the law, but we don't depend on it to keep us saved. The Bible is clear that we are covered under the blood of Christ, and nothing we do will ever add to what Jesus already accomplished at the cross.

no ofense taken, lol well, wouldn't you rather follow Jesu than the law. depend on Jesus rather than the law god bless teh one where we work to keep ourselves saved? You mean like the thief on the cross who just believed? Ernest, works has to do with sanctification, not keeping your...

Once Saved....always Saved - Results of Questionnaire.

Yeah, why would Jesus say keep the law when nobody can't. Only you can answer that And that's what believers do, they hear his voice and follow Jesus. They depend on the finished work of the cross to keep them saved, not works or the law. God bles Right, in this instance (John 6:54) flesh...

"I never knew you: depart from me, you that work inquity."

Rite, the religious have to keep the law because they don't have the cross yet, or saving grace yet. i pray one day they will. the testimony. Heb 6:16-20 People swear by someone greater than themselves, and the oath confirms what is said and puts an end to all argument. 17Because God wanted to...

"I never knew you: depart from me, you that work inquity."

Ernest, the sheep are born again believers and the wolves are nonbelievers those who haven't come to faith in Jesus Christ yet. People are separated into two identities, and that's where you've missed it John 3:3 .for believers it's about belief not works. John 5:24 "Very truly I tell you...
