Why OSAS teaches all sins already forgiven

Of course it was possible for Christ to sin. "He was tempted as we are yet without sin." You can rest assured that Satan would not have wasted his time tempting Christ if he knew it was impossible for Him to do so. Satan is not as dumb as some think he is, he is deceived not dumb to scripture...

Why OSAS teaches all sins already forgiven

What is there to prove? Christ was not born of the seed of man, hence the virgin birth! He was flesh and blood just as we are, but not born of man with the fallen status as we are!

Why OSAS teaches all sins already forgiven

It seems to me you don't know who you are! And you certainly don't understand the virgin birth or you wouldn't speak such nonsense.

Why OSAS teaches all sins already forgiven

NO, I have stated several times on these boards that I disagree with my Brothers and Sisters on OSAS! But I don't beat them to death while I disagree! In one area of defense for the OSAS, Paul plainly said in reference to Grace not being a license to sin, "what, shall we continue to sin that...

Why OSAS teaches all sins already forgiven

"Bragging" really!!! You have no humility before God in who you really are.

Why OSAS teaches all sins already forgiven

Christ was not born of the seed of man! He was born of the Spirit, without the sin nature as we have. You think you can always do the things that please God as He did? You can only please God by being IN Christ Jesus by faith. Not by doing because you will fail in that from time to time!

Why OSAS teaches all sins already forgiven

You think to highly of yourself, @robert derrick! It appears you think you deserve the Grace and Mercy of God. Where is your humility before God? Where is your thankfulness to God for what He has done for you? You slander those who have humility toward God, and build yourself as one of...

Why OSAS teaches all sins already forgiven

But how do we walk worthy of our calling in Christ? We walk in obedience to the Holy Spirit, not in doing this and that of which we think is the way. We walk as Jesus did, in total and complete denial of our abilities as man, and following the desire of the Holy Spirit. You cannot earn...

Why OSAS teaches all sins already forgiven

This is some messed up stuff, robert! Do you understand that Grace is a gift of God, a gift undeserving of man by faith? Through Grace to man by faith, God places you in a position you do not deserve. How is it that you don't understand this?

Why Do You Call Me Good?

Christ didn't touch a leper! When He spoke the word to be healed, the leper was healed before Christ touched him.

Why Do You Call Me Good?

I agree! The certain ruler didn't recognize Him as God. Jesus could have said "only the Father is good" but He didn't, He said, "only God is good" including Himself. There's no doubt about it! The man had the wrong perspective of who Christ was. He was not just a master/teacher, He was/is God.

Why OSAS teaches all sins already forgiven

Yes, I'm a sinner saved by grace! Maybe you deserve that Grace, but I know that I don't.

    10 Commandments too Tough?

    LOL, fair enough.

Why OSAS teaches all sins already forgiven

I don't know about you, robert, but the righteousness I have is not my own. There is nothing I can do to earn my own righteousness. "All my righteousness is as filthy rags." When I came to faith in Jesus Christ, what He did for me there on that Cross, I was given His/Jesus' righteousness as a...

    10 Commandments too Tough?

What can be said to those who believe they can stop sinning altogether in this life? Nothing! In one ear and out the other!
  16. Charlie24

    10 Commandments too Tough?

Mortal fallen man can achieve much through surrendering to the Spirit! The problem is "the Spirit is willing but the flesh is weak."
  17. Charlie24

    10 Commandments too Tough?

Sin is not in physical doing alone! Christ said, you have been told in the Law thou shalt not commit adultery, but I say unto you, whosoever looketh upon a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her in his heart. Jesus is explaining here the depth of the Law. He does it with...

    Biblical insights please?

@theefaith you can prance around these boards and tell us that you are keeping all the commandment if you like, but we know that is impossible for man to do! It was impossible for those under the Law! But they had something you don't have, they had an alter where they sacrificed the blood of an...

The WRATH of God poured out on Christ … where?

Many believe that Christ died from the injuries and suffering He endured, He did not! Christ could have stayed on that Cross forever if He so desired, or He could have come off that Cross, thank God He didn't. Christ could not be killed of man, the only way He could die was to will that death...

The WRATH of God poured out on Christ … where?

The concept is that Christ suffered the curse of the Law as our substitute. Everyone has violated the Law of God in one way or another, the penalty for that is death, that is the curse of the Law. Christ took that punishment on the Cross for us. Not all crimes punishable by death were required...
