Is there opportunity to repent after death?

As I study it more, 1 Peter 3:20 becomes more interesting. It says that GOD's long suffering waited once as the ark was being built. One definition for this word is once for all (i.e., once and never again). It is used in this context in Hebrews 9:26–28, Hebrews 10:2, 1 Peter 3:18, and Jude 3...

    Other gods I know

I thought a handful of men produced the various NT writings. And wasn't it men who by the spirit discerned which writings were inspired and which ones weren't?

A message for those of you expecting to go to heaven

Me either, yet I don't agree with any of it.

Is there opportunity to repent after death?

That translation is a little strange. Some in Corinth were saying that there was no resurrection from the dead. So Paul asked this rhetorical question to point out that it is pointless to be baptized into death if those baptized aren't raised from the dead. That is another strange translation...

Does it matter what time I fast?

There are no hard set rules. Give to GOD what you want to give.

Would the Real Elijah Please Come Forth!

You do not speak for the Most High. Your words are your own. Regarding Azal, I have yet to have one person refute any of the evidence I have presented. Providing opinionated garbage like you did is not refutation of evidence. The reason no one has refuted anything is because they can't; it's...

Is there opportunity to repent after death?

That would appear not to be the case. There is no mention of anything after death but judgment. ... it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: Hebrews 9:27 Judgment is executed against what is done in this life, in a body. A dead person's soul has no body. If it doesn't...

Why Do Christians Not Honor The Sabbath?

I would have to say that unbelief is the culprit.

    Was Mary sinless?

A huge amount. I'm not going to dig them out for you though.

    Was Mary sinless?

In essence that's what universalism teaches. There is no scriptural evidence for repentance after death.

The Moral Law not Abrogated by Christ to Believers

Those in Christ are dead to the law of Moses, and are commanded to obey the law of Christ. The law of Moses only had relevance before the cross. Since the cross. we are under a new law; the law of faith. You are either justified and perfected by law, or you are justified and perfected through...

    Sanctified and Justified

OK, I see now that you don't have any scriptural support. What you have provided is an inference based on your belief in universalism. In other words, one has to believe what you believe to arrive at your conclusion.Since I know universalism is false, I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that your...

The Moral Law not Abrogated by Christ to Believers

I am dead to the law of Moses through Christ. How can I keep a law I am dead to? btw, you didn't answer my question.

    The Doctrine of OSAS

    Was Mary sinless?

Concerning Luke 6:35, GOD is kind to the wicked. His son died that they might be saved. But if they don't want to come to the light, he won't make them. Many people love sin more than GOD. He will give them what they love. Also, what kind of love would it be to force the righteous to live with...

    The Doctrine of OSAS

Jesus will not drive anyone away, but he won't prevent those who want to leave from leaving. It's is GOD's will that all men be saved, but he will not override the wills of any who don't want him.

The Moral Law not Abrogated by Christ to Believers

But you will admit that if you don't keep the commandments of the law you will fall out of favor with GOD? Right?
