It’s a very compelling argument but very few people read the Bible for what it says, everyone brings in their preconceived notions and the twisting begins. None of us have the right to interpret whether or not Paul THOUGHT he would be alive for “the rapture”.

The point of that verse is that Jesus comes and goes the same way. In Jude he comes with ten thousands of his saints which means he left with the Old Testament saints.

Paul taught clearly that WE, including himself would be alive and remain. Somehow rapture believers can’t let that verse say what it says. The Bible doesn’t say Paul wasn’t aware of the timing of the event, rapture believers ADD that to the verse.
