Do Men Have Authority Over Women?

And I am just quoting scripture--not my words, but His. But you reject it.

Do Men Have Authority Over Women?

"...as Christ loves the church." Get it? Apparently not.

Do Men Have Authority Over Women?

You can tell that to Paul when you see him, he is the one who revealed the age of mystery of marriage. I only received it, and pay it forward.

Do Men Have Authority Over Women?

No...the two become One. But here you are purposing to separate what God has joined together. Woe.

Do Men Have Authority Over Women?

Apparently the mystery of marriage as explained by Paul, has escaped you. Or you would not call him "ridiculous" as you have (for I only spoke the same).

Do Men Have Authority Over Women?

These things were only a foreshadowing, practices, like the law and only until the coming of the Bridegroom. After which the church should have understood that all who are espoused to Christ, are as women before God; and having observer the former practices, should know how to behave before...

Do Men Have Authority Over Women?

You misunderstand. These things were spoken to the church and to those who were to hear His voice. Obviously, many have not heard. Those to whom these things were spoken, was to the Bride--of whom all before Christ are as women. Therefore, it is the church that is to submit to their Husband...

Timing of the abomination of desolation

That is the account of the history, true enough. But that was not the act itself, but only the confirmation about the time of the end of that evil generation. The act itself was rather the dead in Christ rising up with Him in His ascension, the first who were last. And the fleeing to the...

    Evidence Part 1--History

The evidence is there--not that those who do not believe will receive it...not that I want to discourage you. But we overcome rather, "by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony." Revelation 12:11

Timing of the abomination of desolation

"Then" just means it was yet to occur. Which was indeed before His crucifixion, that greatest tribulation and abomination which brings forth desolation and the End, which is Christ.

Timing of the abomination of desolation

Did you not see the dead in Christ rise with Him, of whom Christ was the Last? Did you not see salvation come unto the gentiles, of whom Christ was the First? Of course you didn't--you don't even see it now. But this is Armageddon, which is spiritually the gathering and the harvest of the...

    "This Generation" declared by Jesus.

Ah, but the weeds burn daily as light is divided from the darkness daily. And as Jesus said, the harvest was ready even then. As for the great tribulation--that was then also (when you do not expect). For there is no greater tribulation than all tribulation, which has already come upon Christ...

    Is God outside of time?

You are correct until you say Jesus will return as a man, as if in the flesh. They did not see a spirit, they saw He who was manifest in the flesh return again to God whom is spirit. He does not return in the flesh, but returns to those who are His body, who eat of it. The error, as most have...

    Is God outside of time?

Okay. I was being kind to say it was close, willing to let it go. But the truth is, and I quoted you--you criticized another for ignorance while you were the greatest offender, wrongly speaking of the sun's movement in the sky over the earth multiple times. I quote you. It is written.

Timing of the abomination of desolation

Sorry to hear that you are so far from the gospel that you do not see. :(
  16. ScottA

    Is God outside of time?

It's not there. The "like manner" which was witnessed at Jesus's ascension, was not His old likeness, but His new likeness...that of the Father, whom is Spirit.

    Is God outside of time?

    Close enough...but I'm over it. ;)

    "This Generation" declared by Jesus.

Peter was just saying that God is timeless...that in spite of the times laid out before men in His story (history), the times do not apply the same to the things of God--which include all the things of salvation. Salvation is of God.

    "This Generation" declared by Jesus.

The fact that the wheat and tares are still growing together in these last days does not mean the harvest has not already begun: Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white...
