    Age-during vs Eternal

I've told you, I use the Rotherham's Emphasized (EBR). Go back, read what I wrote again and watch the video I posted. I think your questions will be answered....

    Age-during vs Eternal

Mad, you said: "But what upsets the applecart is Paul's use of "aionios" in the above scripture, which seems to clearly point to the word aionios meaning eternal in direct contrast to what he says are things seen and temporary. He uses "aionios" to describe things not seen and eternal." I don't...

    Isaiah 6:8-13

God wants them healed (and they will be), but not yet! Notice the word UNTIL... Buried again, shows that He buried them before, but obviously restored them if there are there to bury AGAIN. This is what the stump represents, the roots, the foundation is still there. God will never completely...

    Age-during vs Eternal

I am at work yes, and yes I will break it down for you tonight the best I can. I do read your post and take what you say seriously. The thing about Eternal is it must not have a beginning, that's key to understanding the word. Ever-lasting just means that whatever it is last UNTIL its purpose...

    Age-during vs Eternal

I disagree, just because something is unseen does not make it eternal. God is not the only thing we cannot see. And just because something is age-abiding does not make it temporal. For many things we do/see will last throughout the ages.

    Age-during vs Eternal

Yes Arnie, God and ONLY God is eternal. NOTHING and NO ONE else is or can be eternal. ONLY GOD has ever and will ever always exist. The rest of us are created being, NOT eternal beings. Christ taught us to be humble, and I think its time to start humbling ourselves and stop putting ourselves...

    Age-during vs Eternal

If forever can just mean "feels like" to Jonah, why can't the rest of the "forever's" just "feel like" as well? Jonah's forever is the Hebrew Olam, he was there for a TIME of unknown duration, day after day, night after night, perpetual. This is exactly what the OT olam and the NT aionios mean...

WW111 AND THE RAPTURE(CATCHING UP) OF BELIEVERS ANY DAY NOW.

Jesus is coming back, without a doubt! But pre-trib? No, I don't think so. Jesus said His followers would see what was written in Daniel. The anti-christ will make war with the SAINTS. How can he make war with people who are not here? Jesus promised tribulation to His followers. Its something...

    Love who?

No, I'm not kidding....pink, bald, and a red beard. And close to 40. This is too weird, I want the donkey back ;)

    Age-during vs Eternal

A few scriptures off the top of my head come to mind that if "forever", "everlasting", or "eternal" actually mean what we've been told they mean, it makes no sense. First, Jonah 2:6, says he was under the waves FOREVER! (I thought it was only 3 days?) Then there is Jude 6, where angels are kept...

    Love who?

Its not the topic that she would shut down, but she and another "MOD" have deleted comments and even shut down topics that "change coarse"....but YES! Start it up and I will join in on the fun. If you like heat, this topic will burn. Anytime I have ever defended the age definition of aion I get...

    Love who?

Thanx Mad, The hotter the debate the better! I would love to get into the eternity vs age-abiding debate because I think its the key to understanding Gods plan of reconciling ALL things. But I think if we change the topic Angelina will shut it down. So maybe I could make a post on my profile...

    Love who?

I said OUTSIDE OF THESE! Anything God does, or anything God is, is done within His compassion, loving-kindness and grace. THAT INCLUDES His "Wrath"... Now, If God only loves those who love Him, He is no better than a tax collector (according to Jesus in Matt 5) What you're saying is that God...

    Love who?

Yes, He does nothing and is nothing outside of these.

    Love who?

Forward motion is: coming to a better understanding of Gods character, which is Compassion, Loving-kindness, and Forgivness.
  17. L

    Love who?

You only think its going backwards....understanding God is more loving and compassionate and merciful then we thought before is not going backwards. Knowing God is bringing His ENTIRE creation into perfect is a forward motion my friend. Good luck back there.

    Love who?

Can knowledge and understanding of scripture progress and even change? Will you answer that question?
  19. L

    Love who?

Or are you going to side step?
  20. L

    Love who?

Side step? I answered your question! You said, " Hang on a minute. Your saying that as my knowledge in the word progresses one day I will be shown that all I have learnt through the spirit was actually wrong..." This, to me, sounds like you don't believe that knowledge can progress. So, can it?
