    being persecuted for righteousness' sake...

That's a bold statement!!! One that I will not make, for surly someone will prove me to be wrong in scripture when I take that attitude.

    being persecuted for righteousness' sake...

In the scripture it is clear who is being persecuted and who is the persecutor, who is right according to the Word of God and who is not! But here on the internet as with life in general, it is not clear to some who believe they have the truth and do not! God knows who they are, and God will...

    Discerning : The Water Cults

Water baptism has nothing to do with salvation, other than to express your outward faith of your inward faith in Christ. Paul plainly tells us in Rom. 10:9-10, that with the heart man believes unto righteousness." That is an inward faith in Christ, which is expressed outwardly in water...

    They’re going to outlaw meat....

I'm sure the future will reveal what this is all about. But Paul makes it clear, those who are behind these things are evil!

    They’re going to outlaw meat....

LOL, this is not the politics forum! Can't discuss this here, although I would like to! But I'm new here, is there a politics forum?

    They’re going to outlaw meat....

I think you have some pretty good insight here! Not meaning to go off topic with politics, but when the left takes complete control of government, and they will, they can provide an option of their choice (synthetic meat) and there will be nothing we can do about it. We are living in some crazy...

    Discerning : The Water Cults

You can believe whatever you like! I'm just telling you that anything less than 100% faith in what Christ did for us will not be accepted. Water baptism is a work performed by another man for you to prove your faith in Christ to others, it is a reflection of your faith, not part of it. Paul...

    Discerning : The Water Cults

Behold is showing you the truth! He has given you several good examples of the truth. Acts 2:38 is not being interpreted correctly, here's some more proof. Eph. 1:13, "In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye...

    Discerning : The Water Cults

It's not about remembering every sin, it's about the heart toward Christ! In order to get saved you must realize you are a sinner, that's the purpose of hearing the Gospel, it shows you clearly who you are and what you are in need of. If that is not revealed to you when you hear it, it has had...

    Discerning : The Water Cults

I don't play games with the Word of God! It's plain to see we must repent of our sins in order to be saved. If you deny that, then that is on you, not me!

    Discerning : The Water Cults

There are some things in this post and others you have posted that must be refuted in the name of Christ! In 1 John 5:8, you are mistaken my friend! No hard feelings toward you, but this must be clarified. In vs 7 John tells us there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Son...

    Discerning : The Water Cults

Who said this in Luke 13:3, " I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish." You can't pick the scripture that supports your belief, you have to take all that Christ said and put it together to see what He meant. Here we plainly see that Christ demands repentance for...

    Degrees of sin

Not trying to convince you because it really doesn't matter what you believe on this. It has no effect on your relationship with Christ. I can give you more detail from the theologians as to why I believe they were angels. They point out that Satan believes he can take control of this world if...

    Degrees of sin

I can understand you believing that, as I once did! After reading behind many theologians I changed my mind. They point out many things such as examples of angels in scripture becoming in the form of man, as in Sodom and Gomorrah. They explain how it is possible for these angels to produce...

Purgatory and Praying to Saints in Catholic Biblical Perspective

There is no purgatory in scripture, it simply doesn't exist. It takes a whole lot of misinterpretation to even suggest one. But hey, you believe as you like, that's fine with me, I just can't find it in any way or in God's purpose for man, and I have searched diligently for it!

Purgatory and Praying to Saints in Catholic Biblical Perspective

Do you know what Gehenna was before it was a trash dump, why Jesus referred to it? From the Hebrew the word "Ge-Hinnom" the Greek translation is "Geenna" comes the literal translation of "valley of the son of Hinnom." This valley was just a very short distance from Jerusalem. It was called...

    Degrees of sin

To me the result of the union as being giants is proof it was not of a human source, but of angels. Another source is in Job, when the Sons of God came to present themselves before God and Satan came along with them, Job 1:6. These were angles! Man is also called Sons of God, but the context...

    Degrees of sin

Yes, I seen that it was somewhat of a question, but just wanted to clarify from scripture the truth in that scenario, as I see it.

    Degrees of sin

I don't like coming here as a brand new member and disagreeing with anyone! But what you have stated is incorrect! Jesus did not go into hell (sheol) to preach to human spirits, but to Fallen Angels. As Peter said in 1Peter 3:20, these He preached to were sometime disobedient during the...

    Degrees of sin

Sheol is the Hebrew is the translation of hell, in the Greek, sheol is translated "hades," it is the same place, and is temporary awaiting the Judgement. Not to be confused with "the lake of fire" which is everlasting and permanent. This is my understanding of it.
