Jesus proclaims to pray to the Father.

Most bibles take out God's name. I mean, if you can't think for yourself, I don't know. Jesus proclaimed the name of his Father, even if you may suggest not so. Go back and read God, and say Yahavah/Yahweh, then find out for yourself.

    Uncovering the Devil's Strategy

It's the sin in me that wants to do the bad. ^_^ While in my inner man I want to do good, I still fail. The only one whom will hit the mark for us is Jesus. Faithfully looking towards what he did which NONE other has ever been able to do. I think we forget that somtimes. Also I was watching...

    God’s name….

That seems to be the problem. People honestly, truly, just don't care. It doesn't matter.

    Interesting preterist argument

    Im thankful for fulfilment.

    God’s name….

Ah to heck with God, and what he wants right...? @Brakelite Well, This was what Jesus said, John 17:3 And this is life eternal: that they might know Thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom Thou hast sent. Take and do what you will. Who is the only true God? Who was the "Unknown God"...

    God’s name….

I think what is sad @Brakelite, is that Yahavah wants his name know but so many people just pass it by. Deuteronomy 32:3 I will proclaim the name of Yahavah/Yahweh; how glorious is our God! Isaiah 52:6 Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he...

Jesus proclaims to pray to the Father.

Jesus’s Father had a name, and in all truthfulness Jesus used Yahavah /Yahweh. Some people say Jesus name is above all other names; but I digress. Jesus used His Fathers name; and “Hallowed shall it be kept.” Jesus name is above all names concerning salvation. I don't get personally offended...

    Transitioning from BELIEVING to KNOWING.

Some people come to a revelation when it hits there heart about something which is revealed, when I die I don’t know if I’m really going to be with Yahavah, I just have hope to do so because of Christ Jesus. Sometimes I feel alone and want to die now; but I’m not looking for sympathy. Thanks...

Jesus proclaims to pray to the Father.

I’m don’t care how people pray. That’s up to the individual. I’m just wondering if we should follow his example or not. Some people pray to Jesus. Some people pray to the Father. Some may do both. I’m not telling anyone how they should pray. I’m just suggesting following Jesus directive...

Jesus proclaims to pray to the Father.

If you believe so. It seems people just got a lot of unsure issues. I don’t know why people would have such issues over Yahavahs/ Yahwehs name. You assume a lot but assuming doesn’t make it true. I’m thankful to be wrong.

Jesus proclaims to pray to the Father.

Whoa, you seem a little mad or irritated. I love the name of God; Yahavah/ Yahweh. Look whatever you do is between you and yourself.

Jesus proclaims to pray to the Father.

Hi Ps95, You're right, He says Father. However, do you believe that the importance of Yahavah/Yahweh's name, is important to you in your life? I believe personally Yahavah, wanted his name to be known. I use his name in prayer, just as Jesus would have, even if we do call him "Father." You...

    Transitioning from BELIEVING to KNOWING.

Hey Scott, Everything can be shaken down by God. (Ones own faith can be shaken even.) (Mind/will/emotions.) Hebrews 12 20 because they could not bear what was commanded: “If even an animal touches the mountain, it must be stoned to death.”[a] 21 The sight was so terrifying that Moses said, “I...

Jesus proclaims to pray to the Father.

Do you have anything to say about the topic at hand, ScottA? It's about prayer. How Jesus taught prayer. Nothing more. Jesus taught them to pray to the Father, whom had a name which was Yahavah/Yahweh.

The one who is still to come

That makes a case for three people seeing the same thing. I'm glad to see other people actually can see this for what it is.

Jesus proclaims to pray to the Father.

@WheresTheTruth, you might wanna start a thread on "the divinity of Christ" or something to that effect if you want to talk about that subject. Idk if it been banned or not to talk about. They did some rise on some ban content but idk if it has remained.

Jesus proclaims to pray to the Father.

Hey dude, whats good. That has nothing to do with the topic. Topic is just how Jesus taught concerning prayer. Nothing more.
  18. MatthewG

Jesus proclaims to pray to the Father.

Yeshua, prayed to Yahavah/Yahweh. What makes it any different that we shouldn't follow that role that he introduced? It's just not common among church going folk, and taught really. There are other important aspects they focus on rather than this. Such as the certainty that over half the...
