If it is recorded then it is a known fact to God. God had all of my days recorded before a single one had pass, same with you too.

That's basically what you said, That the Holy Spirit does not lead individual people, it is only for the church leaders. As a Catholic - you have to ask yourself why there are so many unbiblical doctrines you follow if your church leaders are "led" by the Holy Spirit.

Those who were PREDESTINED are already KNOWN to God. The names were recorded before time even began. If they were going to be "lost" then why did God have their recorded in the first place?

So the Holy Spirit is not active in you at all? You just rely on your church leaders?

    It does not say "Salvation"

Where did I say they were saved? I said people do not have to be saved in order to have knowledge of God. Epignosis is used in that verse (Strong's number 1922, New Testament Greek Lexicon)

Romans 1:28 And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge (epignosis) God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper, People don't have to be saved to have a knowledge of God. Mankind is without excuse, they see His creation.

Rev. 22:19, "book of life" is not always translated as book but as "tree of life". As with Rev. 3:5, as Christians we are already "more than conquerors" and greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world

The Bible is inspired by God, it is His Word, and The Word is the only source that I follow and as believers we have the Holy Spirit to guide us in all truth. I agree with you that the church is not a museum of perfect people. The church is the Bride of Christ and the Body of Believers. All of...

Good thing I don’t follow Luther but the Bible. A Christian should not desire to sin nor encourage others to do so, regardless of the person. I’m accountable for my own faith walk. Just like you are. Sucks we are not perfect like you guys. :)

No one here is against remaining faithful unto death. As Christians, we should guard our life and walk of faith from the world/sin and its influences. At the same time God watches us over all well. Where I stand personally, is that God already "predestined us for adoption" Eph. 1:3. God brought...

Scripture shows that, I've mentioned it before. 1 John 2:19. God's seed remains in the believer, 1 John 3:9

By the fruit they are producing. (you can judge a tree by its fruit) Would you believe that someone is saved if they were visiting bars, strip clubs, and living a total life of willful sin with no regard for Christ? The answer is clear. It's not that we are saying they are lost, they clearly...

In my original post I said, "I would ask them to examine their faith". Not me, but them. The moment we start stating who is saved or lost we are playing God.

First off, I never knew Luther personally, and none of us where alive when he was so trying to make a judgment is pointless. It is not anyone's place to say who is saved or not. I am accountable for my walk of faith, not anyone else's, same goes for you. One thing I do know, he wasn't a fan of...

Once Saved....always Saved - Results of Questionnaire.

1 John 2:19 - They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us. God knew everyone who would be saved before He created man. People do not go back in forth...

Once Saved....always Saved - Results of Questionnaire.

Anyone who gets pleasure from willful sin - clearly does not love Jesus - loving God = keeping the commandments. Someone who preaches "sin away" never really had their "sins washed away"

Once Saved....always Saved - Results of Questionnaire.

Any believer in Christ would not think like this. Our desire is to follow Christ. I believe in OSAS but I do not live my life with a "license to sin". I hate my past life of sin and do not desire to practice a willful life of sin. When I do sin I feel convicted by the Holy Spirit to repent of...

Once Saved....always Saved - Results of Questionnaire.

Quick question, If you can't have infallible assurance until you are dead then that doesn't even line up with Scripture. To have the Holy Spirit living in you means that you are saved - The Spirit is the Seal of Salvation - so yes, you can know if you are saved. Romans 8:9 - You, however, are...
