    What's On Your Mind?

I love my home and my family and friends. I don't see a downside in having a small village. Quality is what counts.

    Home as Ministry

Sometimes my nervous system gets a bit stressed. Then I might -sing an uplifting song or Scripture -reduce multitasking and focus on one thing at a time -listen to classical music -send up a super short prayer for help - start breathing in and out slowly

    Wife, Serve Your Husband

My lifestyle is rooted in Scripture, which makes it traditional. Scripture commands married women to be keepers at home. Titus 2:3-5 3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; 4 That they may...

    What's On Your Mind?

I'm finding it more and more important not to overshare even good things in life that I'm working on. Most things will be obvious when done well---no need to announce anything. Also, the more I talk about what I'm going to do, the less I find myself actually doing it.

The Feminist narrative is crumbling... and here's why

Even though I support gender roles and will die on that hill, I believe we were meant to learn from each other. From my husband, Ive picked up discipline, results-mindedness, speaking with conviction, and consistency. Less excuses, more results. It has greatly impacted my life for the better.

    What's On Your Mind?

I had anxiety about how to balance everything at home. But it came with experience and work. Anxiety has given way to confidence.

    How do you cope?

I turn off the news and focus on what is in my control, namely making a good life for my husband and children. I can't save the nation and Im not called to. Im here to help save my family.

    Wife, Serve Your Husband

Yet this is my husband's exact testimony. It was his idea for me to quit working. He values my presence at home now far more than my financial contribution as a working wife. A stay at home wife and mother does not just "play all day". There's a lot that goes into it when done with excellence...
