Becoming a Grateful and Content Wife

God is inexpressibly good to me. To whom much is given much is required. Do not overcome evil with evil but defeat evil by doing good.

    What's On Your Mind?

I love my thirties so far. I challenge myself and my husband challenges me to be better physically, mentally, and spiritually. Discipline and consistency help me reach my goals.

Becoming a Grateful and Content Wife

I think being honest with God is in another category. I think its good to vent to God but not other people.

LACK of Ethics and Morality in Business

I haven't run anyone over but I used to be addicted to thrift store clothes and shopping for clothes in general. It took a long time to let it go. I was into the thrill of purchase. But I looked at my husband and how he only buys maybe one video game every three months and felt a bit of shame...

LACK of Ethics and Morality in Business

I think its up to us as believers not to be greedy ourselves, to live simple lives, and not be into consumerism. A company's job is to make a profit and grow. They can't force anyone to buy their products. Let's just buy less stuff and be more content with what we have.

The heart felt way of Christians or worldy ways

I think our hearts are naturally wicked. I think that even though we get regenerated hearts as believers, we can still put on the old wicked heart again. We have to renew our minds with Scripture so we don't put on the flesh God saved us from. I am not a Bible teacher nor do I have authority...

Learn to Love Winter This Year

Its hard to understand winter if you're always on the go. Learning to rest and be at peace helps me appreciate winter.

Why Christianity is Hard to Reach to the Rationalist Audience

I really like that you mention how we have real bodies in the new heavens and new earth. This was very encouraging to me. I came to Christ as a skeptical agnostic. Writers like C.S Lewis were a great help to answering some of my questions about the faith against a secular humanist background...

    Wife, Serve Your Husband

One way issue that can prevent a wife from Godly service in marriage is scorekeeping. I say from experience that this is a horrible way to live. When we try to make everything 50/50 and fair, it leads to resentment, bitterness, pride, and plenty of arguing. Life is not fair. Let go of what you...

    What's On Your Mind?

Does it come in other colors? I like the cut of it.

The Day The Washing Machine Died

A wife's reaction to problems big and small can make all the difference.

    God's Presence on a Farm

What a treasure of a church and pastor. I believe it is biblical for most pastors not to take a salary and to work for their living.
