And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will...

But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you. — Matthew 10:19-20

No one has seen God at any time, John?

Pretty much the understanding I was trying to give. I’ll go a step further But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in...

No one has seen God at any time, John?

You seem to be caught on this idea that Jesus is the logos. Did Jesus not state numerous times that he only spoke what he heard the Father speak? It’s probably worth noting that Jesus had to hear from the father to know what needed to be said?

The heavens is a reference to those apostles from whom the bridegroom was going fourth in the first century. Psalm 19 identifies these individuals To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. — Psalm 19:1 Which is as...

IF YOU THINK MATTHEW 24:29-30 WAS FULFILLED IN 70AD PLEASE SHOW ME WHY

I believe the problem your having is when reading this scripture you see Jesus speaking with his disciples, you automatically insert yourself into the conversation. The fact is, it’s private conversation between Jesus and four of his disciples in which he uses many personal pronouns. He’s...

@Matthias I believe it’s important to review the verse before the on you’ve based your thread on. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. — John 1:17 To me this is John stating that the law of Moses wasn’t given from God the Father.
