The Relationship Between Israel and the Church

Most of prophecy brings us to that ultimate conclusion. Where is Christ returning to?

    The Prophetic Feasts of Israel

Receiving the HS wasn't available to OT folks except for the occasional temporary prophecies that were revealed. This is just part of the NT. John 7:39 doesn't say anything about the souls, just that the HS hadn't come yet. That's what Pentecost was for.

    The Prophetic Feasts of Israel

I don't believe that to be true. The concept of sheol, hades and paradise combined, is well known in the OT. A soul doesn't have to had been indwelt by the HS to arrive in heaven. The sacrifices they performed and their faith in God was sufficient for them to have rec'd righteousness (right...

    The Kingdoms of the Dragon

I'm just going to focus on the first beast of Dan. 7, not being Babylon. The main focus of Daniel is Israel. Nebbie's time acting ox-like had zero influence upon Israel and if the description said the "head of an ox" one might have a point. Dan. 7:17 shows that the four beasts "shall" arise. At...

    The Kingdoms of the Dragon

I do agree that the US is the Babylon of Jer. 50 & 51 and Rev. 17 & 18.

    The Kingdoms of the Dragon

If the word of God makes sense, don't go seeking another sense. With the exception of the 5th kingdom that hasn't arrived yet, the first four kingdoms of Dan. 2 and the first three kingdoms of Dan. 7 identities have been historically proven. There's no need to create a non-existent scenario.

    The Prophetic Feasts of Israel

While God may think that way, the word was written for man's understanding. He didn't give us a puzzle book to figure out and decipher. Simply read it as written and it's quite easy to understand. Don't create illusions that aren't scripturally real.

    The Prophetic Feasts of Israel

They will have saving faith at the time of their national revival. However, Rev. is a book of prophecy, not history so those martyrs under the altar will be those of the church, in the context of the Great Trib. and when the rest of those who God has called to be martyrs are fulfilled (Rev...

    The Kingdoms of the Dragon

It not about the land it's about military superiority, in and of itself. Medo-Persia defeats Babylon, Greece defeats Medo-Persia, Rome defeats Greece but Israel just happens to be in that area as innocent bystanders, so to speak, except they did have some battles w/ Greece. Cyrus, the Persian...

    The Kingdoms of the Dragon

As I stated earlier, dominion over the land of Babylon is irrelevant, it's who had dominion over Israel that matters. Daniel is all about Israel.

    The Prophetic Feasts of Israel

Let me put it another way. Do you believe in revivals where sometimes hundreds can receive salvation at the same time yet they all do so on an individual basis? That is how it will be w/ Israel. God will open the spiritual eyes of the 1/3 at the same point in time through the events caused by...

    The Prophetic Feasts of Israel

While the OT prophecies didn't say "how" it would happen, it just assured Israel that those days would come and I agree it will only happen through Jesus.
  13. Trekson

    The Prophetic Feasts of Israel

The bible says that will happen several times in the prophecies of the OT and in Rev.

    The Prophetic Feasts of Israel

That is not what I believe at all and I don't know of anyone who has that opinion. I am premill but I am not pre-trib. The 144,000 are exactly who the bible says they are. The Holy Spirit, being omni-present will "never" go away. The true "church" is made up of only those who are born again and...

    The Kingdoms of the Dragon

Every nation has always had spiritual forces over them. That is what the realization of the armor of God is all about. We battle against spiritual forces but they control, in most cases, the humanity within their sphere of influence, so sometimes through prayer we battle against them as well...

    The Prophetic Feasts of Israel

Agreed, but Zech. 12:10 will be fulfilled followed by Zech. 13:8-9. But soon that unbelief will turn to belief and God's will, will begin to be accomplished w/ their national salvation.

    The Prophetic Feasts of Israel

Things will change and the ethnic "nation" of Israel that enters the millennium will all be born again believers in Christ. They will be the 1/3 of Zech. 13:8-9. The rapture/resurrection is for the church, the 2nd coming is for Israel!

    The Kingdoms of the Dragon

I disagree. Daniel is simply one of the cases where symbolism is used to describe earthly matters. It's historically proven. There are things that should be regarded as spiritual and things that shouldn't. The angel explains these things to Daniel. Take his word for it.

    and they will.

    The Kingdoms of the Dragon

It's not dominion over the land of Babylon that matters, it's dominion over Israel that does. Perhaps you'd better re-study your history. The Babylon spoken of by Daniel was in the time of the 70 yr. captivity, hundreds of years before 120 bc. Perhaps knowing who the 8 kings mentioned in Rev...
