A Simple Way To Recognize The FINAL Beast Kingdom

Your quote, "are not pointing to the nation state of Israel, because Jerusalem is not a land of "unwalled villigages" that dwells safely. It's like the wild west there, the Jews have to carry weapons while walking down the street. The Arabs almost conquered Israel in the 1973 war." That was...

Rapture Thoughts of Some Early Church Leaders

There is no covenant in Gen. 3, one would have to make one up. What Gen. 3:15 is, is a prophecy that what the 1st Adam had undone, the next Adam will fix in a spiritual manner 4000 yrs. later. Grace and the law cannot exist together. There may have been grace given to individuals from time to...

Daniel 9 26-27 and the cutting and strengthening of the new covenant

Does Dan. 11:22-23 show the establishment of that covenant? The "prince of the covenant? mentioned there, is the same one as Dan. 9:27.

A Simple Way To Recognize The FINAL Beast Kingdom

The only way I might be persuaded EZ. 38 is not post mill is when the vss. 8 & 11 have been true for at least a decade.

Rapture Thoughts of Some Early Church Leaders

The OT and NT are not the same and they do need to be properly divided between the age of law and the age of grace.

Rapture Thoughts of Some Early Church Leaders

It's amazing how you make up scriptures, show me some. Noah was kept safe in the midst of the storm, The three Hebrew lads were kept safe in the midst of the fire, Daniel was kept safe in the lions' den. The apostles were kept safe in their boat in the midst of the storm. Paul was kept safe when...

I would say not. The only eschatology not backed by any scripture is the false pretrib doctrine.

If there wasn't a difference we'd still be under the law.

Rapture Thoughts of Some Early Church Leaders

Imo, they mostly tell a true story the Christ utilizes to make a point. It would be like the modern day idiom, 'don't count your chickens before they hatch". A wise move that can be used in all kinds of scenarios. When Christ immediately explains how they should be considered it can't be...

The Relationship Between Israel and the Church

Personally, I'm hoping for a chance to explore the universe.

Rapture Thoughts of Some Early Church Leaders

I guess it depends on the prophets. Prophets like Samuel, Nathan Elijah and Elisha for example had a more advisory role. But the prophetic books of the OT are a completely different. The "tribulations", the early church experienced were usually life and death or minor things like beatings...

    Symbolism

I actually mostly agree w/ you but since God is eternal, that means an eternal past as well as a future. If you are trying to understand Rev. in a mostly symbolic way, then yes it is still a mystery to you, you just don't know it.

The Relationship Between Israel and the Church

I don't think you had to eat it every day. It was probably annual and they mostly had a family reunion at the same time.

A Simple Way To Recognize The FINAL Beast Kingdom

I never said, modern Rome had anything to do w/ these prophecies. The majority of the nations you mentioned were at some point historically ruled over by Nebuchadnezzar, Cyrus/Darius, Artaxerxes, Alexander then his four generals and a host of different Roman leaders. Personally, I believe Ez. 38...

The Relationship Between Israel and the Church

Why would you think they would still be in the garden? There was a was a whole world to explore. They would be those Cain was fearful of and, imo, also known as the Sons (and daughters) of God.

Rapture Thoughts of Some Early Church Leaders

Why would you say every parable is symbolic when Christ always explains what he is talking about. It doesn't matter what unbelievers think. Most of them could be absolutely true or do you think Christ was making everything up on the spot. I'm sure he had or heard of plenty of experiences during...

Rapture Thoughts of Some Early Church Leaders

Sorry, but the GT will be our time of testing, a separating of the wheat from the chaff, the cause of the great apostacy as many believers won't have the courage or desire to actually die for Christ. Everytime the bible mentions trials and tribulations, it is talking about life or death...

the beast with seven heads and ten horns - the Roman Empire

Totally disagree, the concept of "apocalyptic" literature comes straight from the devil. It's what non-believers used to describe non-fulfilled prophecy, not believing they will ever really be fulfilled as written, thus calling God's prophecies "fiction". The word in Rev. 17:9 is oros, the word...
