    Heart Talks on Holiness

You are asking my opinion of what the author thinks? Why would it matter??

    Heart Talks on Holiness

I think this is very straight forward. A heart has been washed and is brand new....like a clean page ready to be written upon.

    Heart Talks on Holiness

I love this book...and I want to read more!!! "...this work is not to be a slow, evolutionary process, but an instantaneous work, wrought in the heart of the humble believer by the Holy Ghost. Blessed be God! And the Bible further teaches that the one thing needful on our part to secure this...

    Heart Talks on Holiness

So, I found/find this very interesting what Brengle says/teaches: "Some people say that growing in grace is the remedy. Some people say you never get rid of it while you live. It will remain in you and war against you till you die. They are not altogether prophets of despair, for they say the...

    Heart Talks on Holiness

Continuing....Brengle goes on to say this: "John calls it “sin,” as distinct from “sins,” and the “ works of the devil.” Ezekiel calls it a “ stony heart ” (chap, xxxvi. 26). The theologians call it “inbred sin,” “original sin,” and “depravity.” Whatever you wish to call it, it is something...

    Heart Talks on Holiness

Hi, I've been a "visitor" to this site from many, many years and finally became a member when one thread I was interested in took off and I wasn't able to read it as fast as it was happening. That's what sparked my membership...but what keeps me away is all the ridiculous bickering. My interest...

How are we to reckon ourselves as being dead to sin?

Your statement is very unkind. I have no cult leader. These type of statements chase kind people away.....but what do you care about good fruit?

How are we to reckon ourselves as being dead to sin?

It appears that it is you who misunderstands!!!

    What is Revival?

Neh_4:2 And he spake before his brethren and the army of Samaria, and said, What do these feeble Jews? will they fortify themselves? will they sacrifice? will they make an end in a day? will they revive the stones out of the heaps of the rubbish which are burned? Psa_85:6 Wilt thou not revive...

How are we to reckon ourselves as being dead to sin?

I found this post that Epi answered you (same question) in a different thread: "I have only tried to do that hundreds of times . The problem doesn't lie in my communication skills...but in your ability to understand something fully out of your grasp. Being spiritual in Christ is to...

    How to Walk in Righteousness

This sounds like something Job's wife would say. :(

    How to Walk in Righteousness

I sorry, you misunderstand. In post #323 I saw that Eternally Grateful was having problems reading what she posted. It's about reading skills. I don't know where she got the quote that she pulled up and I wasn't involved in that conversation so you'd have to you to the source for an answer. From...

    How to Walk in Righteousness

When he said TO GOD he wasn't talking about ways but dimension!! READ what he says...then you won't misunderstand. You are the only one talking about WAYS TO GOD, he talks about WAYS OF GOD. I've read the posts, have you?

    How to Walk in Righteousness

Post #191 you asked him and he replied in #193 From what I've read, he has answered you but it seems you are not satisfied with the answer.

    How to Walk in Righteousness

Seems to me you still are misunderstanding him. I found this as I was reading another thread....it's from your post #520 on Sanctification is Not a Process. Perhaps you could learn more if you use your own advice.

    How to Walk in Righteousness

Actually I don't think you are.... No, what I see is that he insists that there are ways of God and you keep changing the word "OF" to "TO".

    How to Walk in Righteousness

I think you are misreading and therefore misunderstanding....this is what Episkopos said: Heb. 3:10 Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways. Epi speaks of the ways OF God and you are asking about the ways TO God.

    How to Walk in Righteousness

I enjoyed the video, Epi. I like the light you shed on the verse in Isaiah at the end.
