I am the detachment, the enlightenment and the balance of Samsara, no one responds to the One alive in Nirvana but by the power of the Crucible (om?)

We go to be with Jesus. John14:2-6 there are many rooms in my Fathers house, I am preparing a place for you and will come and get you. Jesus said that No one comes to God except by way of him { Jesus }. As followers of Jesus we live to honour him and to show our love for him. Jesus said if you...

Without Love, God is darkness (lost?)

Without the love of God men are in darkness. It is not that God is in or is darkness but rasther that we love darkness more than we like the light.

The Bible teaches, that Christ created all things - but it is also true, that in the end, Christ holds everything *together* (needed?)

There is an inconsistency there. If Jesus created everything and also sustains everything, he is also incharge of everything, so it is not a case of sinful man graciously responding to Jesus's offer, but of a sinner being wrenched out of satans chains and welcomed into Gods family.

As a rule, "partially right, most of the time" is moral.

Gods judgement is perfect. and our morality, no matter what it is based on is useless. Salvation is through faith in what God has done for us, not our keeping moral rules.

The Christians with the greatest life, will be those with the greatest dream

Unless a dream is confirmed by scripture it is worthless. the Christian life is not lead by dreams but by scripture.

Do we need God to be moral?

Morality= Seven moral rules found all around the world | University of Oxford. Do you expect your employer to pay you, do you seek to do a fair days work for a fair days pay? Do you expect God to keep hisv word?

As a rule, "partially right, most of the time" is moral.

The problem with your theory is it takes no account of how God views his law and our compliance with it.

The Christians with the greatest life, will be those with the greatest dream

Scripture interpreted the passage from Joel, Acts2, 14 Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, raised his voice and addressed the crowd: “Fellow Jews and all of you who live in Jerusalem, let me explain this to you; listen carefully to what I say. 15 These people are not drunk, as you suppose. It’s...

    The Ukraine situation

May I suggest that posters here read this history of the russian- Ukraine war. Please note it is long and covers all bases, like Zelensky did not start this war, he wasn't in power when put in invaded the crimes, nazis in power in Ukraine, no political commentators or international...

Aliens & watchers & hybrids, oh my!

Unfortunately the believe in ET's and alien abductions is a religion. While science can debunk claims of ET coming from interstellar space, the problem of power, dust, heat and the impossibility of hiding in space, the reality of 'ufos' and of abductions has to be faced. Articles like this:-...

Jesus wants God to stay with Him, because God-things happen when He does (welcoming?)

Why should it? What evidence do you have that the ordinary Christians in the church in Jerusalem did these sort of things? We read of the apostles doing them, but not of other Christians. Paul wrote to Timoth, drink a little wine for the sake of your stomach. He didn't write lay hands on your...

Of what value is retribution against humankind to God? - Love your enemies?

By the time they get to he'll it is too late, 2 Cor 6 As God’s fellow workers we urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain. 2 For he says, ‘In the time of my favour I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.’[a] I tell you, now is the time of God’s favour, now is the day of...

Scripture says "in His Name, the Gentiles will trust" - what will 'Evolutionist Gentiles' trust in Jesus?

The primary charge against non Christians is found in John3:18 that they have not believed in Jesus.

Scripture says "in His Name, the Gentiles will trust" - what will 'Evolutionist Gentiles' trust in Jesus?

A good example of taking a verse totally out of context. This thread is about evolutionist, atheist coming to know God. you have quoted a verse that is addressed to believers and applied it to non believers.

Of what value is retribution against humankind to God? - Love your enemies?

No it is not the church that says this. The church teaches what is found in the bible from Jesus's own words in John3:18 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son...

Are Christians the biggest barrier to a renewed relationship with God?

The attraction should not be the people in a church, but the appeal of the truth that that church proclaims. One of the amazing things about Christianity, seen in the epistles and in churches today, is the weird mix of people found there. Intellectuals, high saleriy people, those who are not...

Of what value is retribution against humankind to God? - Love your enemies?

You are valuing people, but are devaluing Jesus. As that verse in John3 says, God so loved the world. What more do you think God could do? You are the one saying it, I try to follow what the bible teaches, like Eph 2:you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2 in which you used to live...

Of what value is retribution against humankind to God? - Love your enemies?

In sending Jesus he did more than he had to do! If it took Jesus's death and resurrection to save us how are you in all honesty able to call your creator God a bully?
