[can't discuss in non-Christian forum] If someone goes from being atheist to being agnostic, is that progress? (remember?)

I like your sentiment, but how do you show faith to a fool, if you don't make a distinction? I think it is progress, because an atheist will have a much harder heart than an agnostic.

A time of great distress that will come upon God’s people: The time of Jacob’s trouble.

I want to be able to reach people, with the "mark". I'm not prepared to condemn them. In the same way Paul urges us to be "in the world, but not of it", I am urging us to be "aware of the mark, but not for it"?

IS THERE ONE COMING OF THE LORD JESUS OR TWO?

    After which tribulation? and why?

I am really struggling, with flesh that is puffed up - I don't know how to respond to the law of sin

I liked what you said at first "The spirit wars against the flesh and vice versa." - I've never had a sense that the flesh "fights back", but it does!

Jesus taught us about the love of God!!!

Not just choice - but the fruit of that choice!

A time of great distress that will come upon God’s people: The time of Jacob’s trouble.

Just to address the meaning: the "time of Jacob's trouble" refers to Jacob wrestling with an angel of the Lord. The struggle is that Jacob desired a blessing from God, but he tried to get it from one of His angels - so he struggled until God took pity on him and gave him the blessing. The point...

A time of great distress that will come upon God’s people: The time of Jacob’s trouble.

The "mark" is essentially the forbidden fruit of the following Age. However, I do not agree that the temptation to receive it constitutes the tribulation; the temptation is equally to accuse people of wanting to take it or taking a liking to sharing it with others who want it more than you -...

IS THERE ONE COMING OF THE LORD JESUS OR TWO?

The first coming, for the Cross; the second coming, for the Return in the air; and the third coming, for the Return on the ground.

A time of great distress that will come upon God’s people: The time of Jacob’s trouble.

I don't have any problem with the OP. The tribulation will be more than you think, but thinking you know that: is not it. Essentially Man goes to war with death and starts to lose, but God saves the faithful.

Have an addiction to McDonald's? You are like me!

I've had a thought that might help: I am not going to eat McDonald's unless someone is with me - if no-one is with me to eat McDonald's, I won't even think about it! Make sense?

Scripture says "in His Name, the Gentiles will trust" - what will 'Evolutionist Gentiles' trust in Jesus?

NEWS: God has established that when He considers a Man for his strengths, He considers his "adaptability" (not his progression from one species to another). Dying to yourself, to make way for better adaptations, is more important than surviving, unless you can't follow. I may be holding...

I drempt that I was preparing to share the Word with an outdoor congregation

Live by imagination, don't die for glory! If you can humble yourself, good; if he doesn't want to humble himself, also good. You were both responding to your imagination.

IS THERE ONE COMING OF THE LORD JESUS OR TWO?

The second coming comes with tribulation, is the third coming the same?

Jesus essentially taught the "fear of God" ("the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand"), the Holy Spirit will teach the "dread of God" (been absent long?)

Hi there, So this thought is just going around and around in my head: the Holy Spirit will teach a greater degree than Jesus. Jesus essentially taught the "fear of God": repentance, righteous judgment, atonement - we were expected to understand that our fear of God should in fact be a...

Constantly afraid there will be a big "die-off", when God calls many home (Lord help?)

Hi there, So I have been wondering for some time what happens in the lead up to the tribulation and one thing I cannot account for is the notion of the Rapture - which I think may mean that a lot of people on Earth (of all faiths, meaning everyone) will "be called home" (die). It's something I...

The brain is much more willing to obey you, if you limit micro-aggression (lessons from meditation?)

Hi there, So I guess I am just putting this out there, because I have spent a lot of time meditating but never really had control of my brain. The point is simple: the brain is more willing to obey under certain conditions, than others. The condition the brain specifically responds to, is that...

    Flat Earth Theory

The Earth is flat when you stand on the Earth - the same way the Sun is flat when you stand on the Sun.

    One Thing Daily

Me: I have to meditate. Closeness to God, in stillness, transports the soul to higher realms.

    Where does consciousness reside?

[the power of] Consciousness is a vibration in the soul. Just as we are told God created with His Word, so He creates consciousness - which is essentially a vibration caused by that Word.

IS THERE ONE COMING OF THE LORD JESUS OR TWO?

Yes ok, but you are saying there are two comings: does the third coming come with tribulation for those who are on Earth?
