I’m not sure what you mean here, but ok.

Actual "Mormon" here: Jeremiah 1:5 says "Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you. Before you were born, I sanctified you. I have appointed you a prophet to the nations.” Whereas most other churches interpret this figuratively, LDS Christians believe it literally: God literally knew...

We also live in this world. You critiquing me because I earn a different salary (from a secular company) than my literal neighbor (whom also works as a secular company) doesn't make sense. Loving your neighbor is about the heart- I am there for her. I'm there to help out whatever needs done...

You love to play that card of "I Enoch111, whom have never actually even stepped foot into a LDS Christian church building, know what they believe and teach better then actual members whom have studied and lived this for decades" I'm sorry, but no.

I do not see the validity in this critique from an American. It’s also missing the point of where your HEART is.

That is different then having literally the same income. A person can live in a socialist economy where literally everyone has the same paycheck, but hearts are far from Him and there’s no love between each other. And vise versa: different incomes but truly lovingGod and your neighbor.

So you are critiquing that there isn’t completely standardized income across everyone?

Who’s leaving out the Royal Law? And it would be neglectful to not teach that adultery is wrong.
  9. J

    ...

I’m confused here. Do you think it’s bad or legalistic we strive to not commit adultery?

There's a lot to untangle here, I'll try to get a what I think you're asking, please correct me if I'm getting it wrong. For talking about sins, I'm going to use an example of my friend "Jess". Jess had an affair. Very knowing it was wrong and doing it anyways. She rode the chemical high of...

    Not accurate.

Some of your understanding is inaccurate here. For example, loosing one's temple recommend does not equate to loosing salvation or exaltation. Christ is the Judge. The purpose of a bishop's guidance is to help a person repent - to get to that point where their heart is at that "go & sin no...

I had offered to help Harold understanding earlier, and never heard back from him. The TLDR: all Christians (LDS and other) believe that salvation comes through faith. It is a gift from God. We also believe John 14:15-24, and strive to keep Christ's commandments because we love Him...

    Seventh-day Adventist

Jesus Christ is the divine Son of God. He is MY Lord and Savior (+ everyone else’s). He has always existed, created the Earth, was born of Virgin Mary, lived a perfect sinless 33 years showing me how I aught to live. He was tortured and died for MY sins, and rose again on the third day in a...

    Question For JW's

I'm not a JW and extremely not a fan of JW beliefs. That being said, there's nothing to be gained from debating a JW: you're not going to change their mind and they aren't going to change yours. Such only cause amenity.

    Seventh-day Adventist

Actual “Mormon” here… I wish more Christians of other faiths spent to time actually understand what I believe about Christ (divine Son of God and Savior of the world). Too often other people trying to inform me what I believe (getting the facts wrong) and then try to tear that straw man down. It...

    Entire Sanctification = "In Christ"

You and I are actually disagreeing here. But oh well.
  18. J

    Entire Sanctification = "In Christ"

I agree with this, with the caveat that “cults” are not denominations/group, but rather a way of thinking- that “I want the black and white, follow my Leader, don’t think/examine, just bang my drum”. Such people exist in every group.

    Entire Sanctification = "In Christ"

Even “Mormons” don’t accept things uncritically. A person being thoughtful in their faith and investigating is always a good thing. Mocking on the other hand shows a lack of thought. No Christian of any denomination needs that.
