Is the Second Death the End? - (nope)

Hello amigo de christo. And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the SAVIOUR OF THE WORLD. (John 4:42) And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the SAVIOUR OF THE...

Is the Second Death the End? - (nope)

Jesus didn't teach that. Poor translators and the church did, crucifying him all over again.

Is the Second Death the End? - (nope)

I'm sure "nearly every" means "every" in your book just like "ages" means "forever" but it just ain't so. I rarely read the NWT. I believe Christ is God and I don't subscribe the doctrine of annihilation. So wrong again Jack.

Is the Second Death the End? - (nope)

Geez, Jack if you believe an age is forever I'm sure you could be convinced that an hour, day, month or year is also forever. Say, I've got some seeds I can send you. They grow into this giant beanstalk.........Jack.

Is the Second Death the End? - (nope)

First of all Jack you said: And I just proved that they do not all agree. Furthermore an age is not forever and ages are not forever. Also the lake of fire is never called hell fire in any translation that I am aware of. Why didn't the translators call the lake of fire hell, Jack.

Is the Second Death the End? - (nope)

No they don't Jack. Try this one: Revelation 20:10 Young's Literal Translation and the Devil, who is leading them astray, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where [are] the beast and the false prophet, and they shall be tormented day and night -- to the ages of the ages.

Is the Second Death the End? - (nope)

See that wasn't that hard. We all do Jack, it's called Biblegateway.com So who is the beast and the false prophet?

Is the Second Death the End? - (nope)

No Jack, I asked you a question about your quote (not quotes) which you still have not answered, but you accuse me of changing the subject. That is deceitful.

Is the Second Death the End? - (nope)

Which version of the Bible are you taking your quote from Jack?

Is the Second Death the End? - (nope)

No, the second death is not the end. It is the means by which humanity will be saved. It is the Lake of fire it is gehenna fire.

Is Jesus the Saviour of the whole World?

Certainly: And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 18:3)

Is Jesus the Saviour of the whole World?

You are absolutely correct. Here is a double witness to prove you right: That at the name of Jesus EVERY knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that EVERY tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father...

Is Jesus the Saviour of the whole World?

I disagree. Dante's inferno has layers. Salvation does not. Salvation is obtained through God's judgment by fire (not literal fire) either now through gehenna fire (not literal fire and no wrath) or later through the lake of fire (not literal fire but by or through God's wrath). It is all the...

Is Jesus the Saviour of the whole World?

Hi Episkapos, nice to meet you. I believe salvation is absolutely inclusive. Jesus was sent to save the world and he will not fail. Anything other than inclusive is exclusive; middle ground is exclusive. Salvation cannot be both. Peace.

    What makes a doctrine false?

What salvation is that? Can you explain what being saved is? (Lots of differing opinions on this) Do you think Paul is in alignment with Christ when it comes to what he taught and what Jesus taught? Me too.

    What makes a doctrine false?

Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Interestingly enough, if you don't know who the Lord is then calling on him is moot. And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the SAVIOUR OF THE WORLD. (John 4:14) And said unto the...

    What makes a doctrine false?

No, peace comes from knowing that God is in charge of EVERTHING. I believe what the scriptures teach. When you die you are dead. And we will all be resurrected. Some will be resurrected to eonian life while others will be resurrected through the lake of fire. But all of us will be resurrected.

    What makes a doctrine false?

By the way, rvmb, that story I just told is not about me and how I wrote a paper and was an atheist yadayadayadya..... All of it was Christ drawing me to him.

    What makes a doctrine false?

I don't think I know how to answer that because we all have different walks. I was an atheist for many years, and I would always tell people that the "Bible" was nonsense; all that mattered was love and forgiveness. That's all you really needed to find peace in this life. I remember, I had...

    What makes a doctrine false?

Hi St. Steven, Yes, Jesus Christ will save every person that has ever lived, is living now, and those that come in the future. That is the basis for sound doctrine. If you don't have that, you don't know Christ and you will bury yourself in lies.
