And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory. 1Timothy3:16 You might actually want to read the Bible at least 3 or 4 times before...

"Yahavah said to my Adonai." The English isn't specific, but your quote is irrelevant given that Christians worship One God manifest in three persons, not three persons manifest in One God. Man reflects the image of God, through body, mind, and spirit, as God is manifest in Christ, the Holy...

Does God Discipline Us When We Sin?

17 Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. John 17:17 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. John 8:31 15 “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. 2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes...

Does God Discipline Us When We Sin?

It really comes down to one thing. Do you believe that the scriptures are the inspired word of God, or is it okay to just make stuff up and believe in a god of your own imagination? The word says what it says and it was never intended to be reinterpreted in any way other than by His Spirit.

Does God Discipline Us When We Sin?

The quote from Hebrews is the one that sticks with me, but this is more comprehensive. Our society has bought into the notion that spoiling kids is good for them.

Job, and the precursor event to the great tribulation.

Do you think it's significant that Job was from Uz and that Uz is in Edom, the nation Isaiah calls the land of God's judgment. 4 All the host of heaven shall be dissolved, And the heavens shall be rolled up like a scroll; All their host shall fall down As the leaf falls from the vine, And as...

Does God Discipline Us When We Sin?

You beat me to the quote, but this verse is powerful encouragement to anyone who's found that they can't "get away with sinning" and always suffer consequences. People who are never disciplined are certainly judged "later" for their sin. (They remain condemned by it. )

No one can make you believe anything except God. I only asked if you understood the conflict (why Christians would reject your dream as "holy".)

Sure , there is One God and creator of the universe. Deuteronomy 4:35 To you it was shown, that you might know that the Lord Himself is God; there is none other besides Him.

Roman Catholicism definitely affects dreams, and among the Catholics there is a theology surrounding the virgin Mary based entirely upon dreams and visions, including a state of perpetual virginity and the doctrine of the "assumption of the virgin Mary". These are considered apostate and even...

The judgment of Jerusalem and "Replacement theology"

I have trouble with separating Christ from God in your interpretation, but it's pretty sound. There Is some Christian teaching that was lost to scripture regarding judgment. Paul gives us a single question pertaining to angels: Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more, things...

Well, visions of a "heavenly mother" aren't likely to be recieved well on any Christian forum other than a Catholic site (or one sponsored by a daughter church that observes customs like prayer to the saints,) because of a long history on Earth of paganism surrounding fertility cults. In the...

Whipp media's other site (Christianforums.com ) has stricter guide lines and rules against goading, Flaming, proselytizing, and even evangelizing. It's definitely designed to be a safe space for fellowship, but by compartmentalizing various groups by various theologies, it just gives...

The judgment of Jerusalem and "Replacement theology"

I haven't read the book of lamentations for a while, but it's authorship is attributed to Jeremiah the prophet. it was written after the fall and destruction of Jerusalem by Nebuchadnezzar's army, hundreds of years before 70AD. It's a very powerful look at God's judgment of His rebellious people...

Sometimes it's less about winning than having the last word. I've had a few people post something nasty directed at me on Twitter only to block me immediately after. That's one way to have the last word.;)

    The HOMELESS Problem.

There's lots of reasons for homelessness, but the primary one is simply the value of real estate. All the wealthiest people on the planet buy as much "prime real estate" as they can afford to keep. The planet isn't getting any larger, and liveable or productive real estate never really...

Aren't you glad that men don't duel with swords or pistols anymore to settle issues of pride. However you still have to watch your back on city streets when some men feel disrespected by you. I've had at least one close call in Manhattan.

You would think so, wouldn't you? It takes me a long time to write a thoughtful post, but not so long for a snappy retort. In difficult conversation I find myself convicted of wrongful behavior pretty quickly, but after the fact. With messaging online you can take time to consider your response...
