Is it possible to lose salvation?

Well I see y0ou are expert at the nit picky little details. But let me answer. As the bible is Gods word and not mans I know God decided which books would be in teh sacred Scriptures. He used the council of Nicea to formalize (if not specifically ratify) What you call the protestant bible...

Doctrinolatry - tribalism and division in the Body of Christ

Y&es it made all men savable, but not all will come to HIm as it is written John 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. Unsaved man will not come to Jesus until the Father draws them (compels)

    WHO SHOULD WE FOLLOW?

Well I too am a deep fan of the Pauline epistles. but you write as to make it seem the rest of Scripture is inferior. While the OT does not have the same value as the NT for our lives, it does give invaluable insight for us a followers of Jesus. BTW the passages you cited have nothing to do...

Is it possible to lose salvation?

But it is clear like the phrase we are saved by grace and not by works

Is it possible to lose salvation?

So at one point we had approx. 12 pontiffs ans the Apostles in their scattrings wrote rulings to the churches they helped establish. Interesting He used the pagan term used for the highest ruler of the pagan councils. also it means supreme pontiff or ruler not bishop of bishops. Sorry, but...

Is it possible to lose salvation?

Well aside from your not so subtle ad-hominen about me, you couldn't be more wrong. If you would bother to ask, you would find I do have a rather large knowledge of early church history. And I follow biblical teachers be they protestant or Catholic. I know you are mired and chained to...

Is it possible to lose salvation?

You will not find the phrase Scripture alone in Scripture. But you will find passages and words that say Scripture is the source for all issues of faith, doctrine and practice either directly or through the priniciples found in Scripure. Jesus said it best. Matthew 4:4 But he answered and...

    WHO SHOULD WE FOLLOW?

Let me ask you this in light of your response. You said all Scripture is profitable but you follow Paul. Does that mean you place less value on the rest of Gods Inspired word?

    WHO SHOULD WE FOLLOW?

Sorry but you are too narrowly dividing Paul. Even Peter and James and Barnabbas and Silas et. al. knew what the church was. they may not have delineated it like Paul did, but then again, god chose the writings that covered all we would need for righteous living. But the church was hinted at...

Can any of you link or share a good argument against FULL preterism?

Well I do not promote God has tow covenants of Grace. during teh church age Jew and Gentile are one body called the church. Once the rapture happens the church is gone and saints at the Lords return will be divided. Gentiles to populate th eworld and the Jews to live in Israel in accord with...

Doctrinolatry - tribalism and division in the Body of Christ

Once we are saved, yes we h ave free wil lrestored. That is when a person is no longer a slave to sin as it is written. but an unsaved man is incapable of choosing god in their sin nature.

    DID PROPHECY STOP WITH JOHN?

So you believe the bible is flawed then?

Can any of you link or share a good argument against FULL preterism?

If you wish to do an in depth study of dispensational eschatology that is pre-mil and pre- trib, I suggest to you the book "Footsteps of the Messiah". by Dr. Arnold Fruchtenbaum. You can find it as his website ariel.org.

    Free Will

Those are choices. biblically , free will has to do with one in their unsaved state to be able to choose god, love, obey and serve Him. and the biblical answer to that is a resounding No! Unsaved man does not have the capacity to be able to choose god in and of themselves.

    DID PROPHECY STOP WITH JOHN?

Canonized prphecy ceased. but god still tells people of future things eeither individually or as part of a local assembly.

WHAT FOUNDATION IS THE CHURCH BUILT UPON?

Sorry but the bible says there is only one foundation, one body and one building! As Paul wrote in Ephesians: 11 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; 12 That at...

WHAT DOES ABSENT FROM THE LORD MEAN?

So seeing you agree 100% with Paul why even write?

Doctrinolatry - tribalism and division in the Body of Christ

An unsaved man cannot choose to live for god. It is impossible top do so with a sin nature. Paul made that clear in Romans 8:8 Romans 8:8 King James Version 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. Human nature in and of itself will never choose God. Paul also revealed to...

Is it possible to lose salvation?

And Jesus explained that phrase which is part of a Passover Seder. No they are not yucky, but wonderful1. and sorry but osas, sole fide and sola scriptura are what the bible teaches. But why should we believe things not found in the bible , e3specially when they contradict the clear teaching...
