    Daniel Chapter 2

No, you say they were fulfilled by AE. AE and the Ptolemy’s and the Seleucid’s are not in Daniel. They ARE in our history books. Today’s accepted interpretations DO say that Chapter 11 is almost all about them , but that is only because they are attempting to match the verses in Daniel to our...

    When was the A.O.D fulfilled?

I guess we will simply agree to disagree. No problem.

    When was the A.O.D fulfilled?

Oh, I forgot to mention the Messiah is first mentioned in the "destructive" verse of 26, and this "prince" of the people who will come will destroy the city / sanctuary. So, we have the restoration verses for the city / sanctuary / Messiah in 25, and the "destructive" verses for the city /...

    When was the A.O.D fulfilled?

I don’t think so. The PEOPLE of the prince who is trying come shall destroy the city… The people who destroyed the city in 70 AD was the people under Titus of pagan Rome. The “prince” who is to come who will rule over these same people is the little horn. Regarding your following the rules...

    When was the A.O.D fulfilled?

Sorry, I don't agree. Chapter 9 is all about the restoration that began in 457 BC and ends in the last week of the prophecy when the Messiah goes to the cross. The two "restorative" verses (24-25) speak of the restoration process, while the two "destructive" verses (26-27) speak of their...

The six things of Daniel 9:24

It has been a little while since this post was active. Please tell me what your response was to confirm or refute. Thanks.

The time, times, and a half does not include the season and time, which is the thousand years.

Thanks. Well, there is no doubt that your interpretation is in line with “today’s accepted interpretations.” And we are each entitled to our own interpretations… in my study, I certainly began to understand Chapter 11 reading/ learning what just are “today’s accepted interpretations,” but they...

Ok, here is verse 2:45. Daniel 2:45 45Forasmuch as thou saw that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream...

The time, times, and a half does not include the season and time, which is the thousand years.

Ok, here is verse 2:43. Daniel 2:43 43And whereas thou saw iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay. In verse 43, Daniel presents a third comparison between two distinct groups...

Ok, here is verse 2:42.. Daniel 2:42 42And as the toes of the feet were part iron, and part clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly fragile. There are a few important points to mention before we unpack this very enigmatic verse. First, Daniel is revealing the material...

The time, times, and a half does not include the season and time, which is the thousand years.

I have never heard anyone treat the resurrection as His second coming.... not that it is wrong, but I do not put His resurrection as a second coming. I view His arrival on the first day of the 70th week to be the first coming where He will fulfill all of 9:24, establish His church on the earth...

The time, times, and a half does not include the season and time, which is the thousand years.

Verse 21 is indeed a most significant person revealed in the Book of Daniel. He is the same one revealed in Daniel 7 and 8, the little horn who comes out of pagan Rome in Chapter 7. And since pagan Rome was “slain and its body was destroyed,” (7:11), then he was present after the cross and after...

Thank you for your thoughts. Unfortunately, I have not studied Revelation so I cannot comment on it. However, if we put aside any of my interpretations for now, I would like to ask you about your thoughts that you have just mentioned. If the Book of Daniel is the most prophetic book in the OT...

Everyone is certainly entitled to their own opinion and interpretations. And that is okay.

The time, times, and a half does not include the season and time, which is the thousand years.

I mentioned earlier regarding the way God has presented Chapter 2: it is not some 45 verses presented in chronological order. Rather, it is broken into two major sections - a “dream sequence” section and an “ interpretation sequence” section, where the former is the summary section and the...

The time, times, and a half does not include the season and time, which is the thousand years.

There is a dual application here in 2:44x one is physical or literal and the other is spiritual. The key to the spiritual reference is to determine who are these kings.

Thank you for your comments. I do understand that this is along the lines of what everyone believes Chapter 11 is telling us, but I can assure you it is referring to the time after the cross. The earlier kingdoms are briefly and quickly put in the rear view mirror in 11:1-4, and then everything...

Thanks. And Chapter 11 is without a doubt the most difficult chapter in Daniel … by far!!!! It is only when one attempts to interpret this chapter as it relates to the coming Messiah and the 70 weeks of prophecy will it be unveiled.

Thank you very much and I have seen this before. It attempts to interpret Chapter 11 as ALL, or almost ALL interpreters have done. They have continued to apply a "historical" approach to Daniel - especially Chapter 11 and has attempted to identify those verses in Daniel to the events that might...
